What is BS-Zelda? BS-Zelda (Bantai-Satellaview Zelda) is a remake of the original Legend of Zelda. It was released in Japan on the Bantai Satellaview, a Super Famicom (SNES) add-on that allowed users to download games from a satellite. Games could only be downloaded at certain times of the day. The basic concept of BS-Zelda is the same as the original Zelda. The main difference is the layout of the overworld and the layout of the dungeons. ======================================================================== VI. Important Locations The Overworld is divided into an 8-by-8 grid. The map is divided into rows [A - H] and columns [1 - 8]. The upper-left corner is A1, the lower-left corner is H1, the upper-right corner is A8, and the lower-right corner is H8. You start the game at H6. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 A [ W ][ 8 ][ D ][ D ][ S ][ R ][ S ][ 5 ] B [ R ][ ][ P ][ ][ E ][ 7 ][ R ][ ] C [ I ][ M ][ H ][ D ][ ][ G ][ ][ M ] D [ M ][ M ][ 4 ][ ][ S ][ W ][ 2 ][ ] E [ ][ S ][ ][ E ][ 1 ][ ][ F ][ H ] F [ ][ ][ W ][ ][ E ][ ][ ][ L ] G [F R][ H ][ ][ ][ S ][ G ][ ][ 6 ] H [ ][ M ][ 3 ][ H ][ M ][B 9][ ][ P ] B - Start of Game - H6 1 - Level 1 - E5 2 - Level 2 - D7 3 - Level 3 - H3 4 - Level 4 - D3 5 - Level 5 - A8 6 - Level 6 - G8 7 - Level 7 - B6 8 - Level 8 - A2 9 - Level 9 - H6 L - Letter - F8 F - Fairy - E7,G1 I - White Sword - C1 P - Warp Point - B3,H8 M - Old Man - C2,C8,D1,D2,H2,H5 W - Old Woman - A1,D6,F3 G - Money-Making Game - C6,G6 D - Door Repair - C4,A3,A4 S - Shop - A5,A7,D5,E2,G5 E - "It's a secret to everybody" - B5,E4,F5 H - Heart Container - C3,E8,G2,H4 R - Rupees - B1,B7,A6,H1 ======================================================================== VII.
