SECTION 1: |INTRO|
            -----

      -------------
  A: |Version Guide|
      -------------

Version 1.0: Just finished making the walkthrough for the game,
and submitted it to GameFAQS (04/16/02)

Version 2.0: Received info on how to get the Power Bracelet
without using a cheat code. Special thanks to the people who e-
mailed me. Those names will be listed in the "Special Thanks"
section, further down the walkthrough. (06/08/02)

Version 3.0: Big update for the readers. This version will include
how to get the Magic Sword and Red Ring (check "Before Level 8"
for info). Plus info on the importance of the clock (check
"Clock" for info), and how to get the final Heart Container. Also
tweeking a little bit of loose ends I may of messed up on ^_^.
     (07/10/02)

Version 4.0: Been a long time since my last update (nearly 2
years), so I figure it's time to update yet again, but this time
I'm just tweaking up the style a bit, not to mention adding some
info like stats for enemies and bosses, as well as some other
info, and a new Copyright section. (08/02/04)

  B: |The Story Of BS Zelda|
      ---------------------

The story according to Legend Of Zelda 1:

"Many years ago, Prince Darkness Ganon stole one of the Triforce
with power. Princess Zelda had one of the Triforce with wisdom.
She divided it into 8 units to hide from Ganon, before she was
captured. Go find the 8 units, Link, to save her!"

The story according to me ^_^:

There is a place called Hyrule, where everything was peaceful.
That is until Ganon struck loose. Ganon stole the Triforce Of
Power, a treasure of immense power, and plans on using it to
destroy Hyrule. He plans on going after the other Triforce, the
Triforce Of Wisdom, another powerful treasure, but Princess Zelda
broke that Triforce into 8 pieces which were hidden in 8
underground labryinths. Knowing this, Ganon capture Princess Zelda
and has her held captive in his dark dungeon on Death Mountain.
With his monsters let loose on Hyrule, a young fairy boy named
Link must make his way through the many realms of Hyrule,
defeating many monsters and exploring many underground dungeons.
With the help of an Old Man, Old Woman, a merchant, and a Fairy
Sprite, Link will go out on his most adventerous journey ever.

      ----------------
  C: |What Is BS Zelda|
      ----------------

BS Zelda is a remake of the classic game, Legend Of Zelda. BS
Zelda is made for the Super Famicom (Super Nintendo in Japan). The
graphic has been updated to be more 16-bit looking, and the
gameplay itself is much different from Legend Of Zelda 1. Levels
are all twisted around as well as the Overworld. BS Zelda means
Bantai-Sattleview, which I don't understand what that means. I do
know that it was a game that you could only play at certain times
of the day that, but you have to download the game in order to
play it. I hope to follow up on this as much as possible!

      ----------------------
  D: |About This Walkthrough|
      ----------------------

This is a walkthrough for BS Zelda. I made this walkthrough
because I like the Zelda series. However my interest in the Zelda
series ended after Zelda 64: Ocarina Of Time was released. I heard
about BS Zelda rom GameFAQS (while looking at walkthroughs for
various games), and was curious. Then a friend of mine was able to
find it and download it for me. I played it, and beat it in a
week. Then I decided to make a walkthrough for the game, since
it's so easy to play through.

I hope this walkthrough will be of great help to anyone who uses
it. I understand that there are different versions for this game,
depending on what ROM you get. This walkthrough covers a good
portion of the game, including some spots that, I believe, weren't
accessable in the game (like finding the Silver Arrows in Level 8
and where Level 9 is). However through many emails, I have been
able to uncover every missing item (except the Magic Key).

      ---------------------
  E: |Control Configuration|
      ---------------------

Controls are quite easy to figure out:

D-PAD = Directional Pad; Let's you move your character Up, Down,
     Left or Right.

SELECT = Menu Screen 2; I haven't figured out what this is yet.
Anyone who knows, please shed some light on me

START = Menu Screen 1; This is the Main Menu. You can select which
item you want, plus see other things.

'B' BUTTON = Item Button; This shows what your current item is to
use. Move the cursor to select a new item.

'A' BUTTON = Attack Button; This shows what your current sword is.
You can attack with this button.

There are two different types of configuration when playing this
game, the Joypad Configuration (using a controller) and the
     Keyboard Configuration (using the Keyboard):

     JOYPAD CONFIGURATION:

The best I can say is that this varies depending on the type of
controller you're using. What's listed below is the configuration
     for if you're using a SNES-type controller:

      ----------------------------------
     | - - |
     | | | SELECT START |X| |
     | - - ---- ---- - - - |
     | |D-PAD|  |    | |    |  |Y|   |A||
     | - - ---- ---- - - - |
     | | | |B| |
     | - - |
      ----------------------------------

D-PAD, SELECT & START: Works normally
'Y' Button: Acts as 'B' Button (Items)
'B' Button: Acts as 'A' Button (Attack)

     KEYBOARD CONFIGURATION:

The keyboard is a bit more trickier to use than the joypad.
However, listed below is the way I use the keyboard, which I find
this to be the more useful way:

Up, Down, Right & Left Arrow: Acts as D-Pad
'4' Key (on the Num-Pad): Acts as 'B' Button (Items)
'2' Key (on the Num-Pad): Acts as 'A' Button (Attack)
Space Bar: Acts as Select Button
Enter Key: Acts as Start Button

SECTION 2: |WALKTHROUGH|
            -----------

      ----------------------
  A: |Before The Walkthrough|
      ----------------------

Before we get to the walkthrough section, there is one thing I
would like to point out first. It seems that when you play the
ROM, some of the numbers are actually letters. This happens in
shops and when you talk to the Old Man. Why this happens, I do not
know. But I do have a list of the letters and the numbers they
     represent, and here they are:

     I = 1   U = 2   E = 3   S = 4   A = 5
     V = 6   R = 7   Y = 8   Heart = 9   T = 0

Note: This is how it shows up on my game. Not saying it will
happen, but it could very well be different on your end. Now onto
     the game ^_^

      --------------
  C: |Before Level 1|
      --------------

You start your adventure in Area [F8]. When starting this game,
you will have 3 Hearts on you, and nothing in your inventory. For
a moment, you will not have control of Link. Instead, he will
automatically walk into the cave in this area. Inside you will see
an Old Man. He will say "It's dangerous to go alone, take this!"
and presents you with the Wooden Sword, which is your 1st Level
Sword. Get the sword and leave the cave, because you are now ready
to head to Level 1, which is at Area [E5]. From Area [F8], go east
1, north 2, west 1, north 1, west 1 (by crossing the bridge). Kill
everything in your way to earn some money. If you're low on life,
just head up to Area [G5] where a Fairy lives. Keep in mind, if
you clear a screen, leave and come back, the monsters will
regenerate. This will come in handy. After all this, you should be
in Area [E5]. Now go inside the entrance, and you will be inside
     Level 1.

Welcome to Level 1. When starting this level, go through the door
on the west side. In here, there are 5 Vires, a Compass and a shut
door. Kill the Vires, and get the Compass. After killing the
Vires, the shut door will open. Go in there, and you will see 3
Stalfos, one of which is carrying a Key. Kill the Stalfos and get
the key, and continue westward. In this room, you will see an Old
Man. He will say "Arrows costs money to use". Leave here, and make
your way back to the entrance of the level. Now head upwards
through the north door, where you will see 5 Ropes and a locked
door. Kill them off to get another key, then head north again,
using the key on the locked door. In this new room, there are 3
Stalfos and another locked door. Kill the Stalfos and use your
other key on the locked door. There isn't anything in here to
collect, so there's no point of staying in here. After using the
key, go through the door, where there are 5 Vires and a shut door,
as well as the Map. Kill the Vires to open the door, and get the
Map, then head through the door on the west wall.

In here, there are 5 Gels, a shut door to the west and an open
door to the north. What to do, well kill the Gels, and head
through the west door. In here you will see 4 Spike Traps as well
as a staircase in the middle of the room surrounded by blocks. Get
around the Spike Traps and find the right switch to push so you
can enter the staircase. Once doing so, you should be in an
underground room, where there are 4 Vires and the Bow. Kill the
Vires and get the Bow, and leave the underground room. Now head
back one room east, then go north. In here, you will see 3 Red
Goriya's and a Key. Kill the Goriya's and get the key, then head
west. Once in this room, you will see 3 Gels, a block and a shut
door. Simple enough, kill the Gels, push the center block and the
door will open. Go through the door, and you will be in another
room. In this room, there are 6 Vires and a locked door to the
north. Kill the Vires and use a key on the door. Go through the
door and in this new room, there should be 3 Stalfos in here, one
of which is carrying a Key. Kill the Stalfos and get the key, and
use the key on the locked door to the north. In here, there are 5
Gels. Nothing is to be gained from in here, so just continue
     northward through the door.

In this room, there are 3 Red Goriya's. Kill them and you will
receive a set of Bombs, which will come in handy soon enough. Now
go in the room to the east. You should see a locked door on the
other side and a Key, but it seems it's too quiet. Well it's not,
there are 5 Wall Masters in here. Be careful not to let them grab
you, or else you will be taken back to the beginning of the level.
However kill them off to make this room easier to get through.
Once killing the Wall Masters, get the key, and go through the
locked door, where you will face your first boss, Aquamentis. When
in here, carefully defeat Aquamentis with either your Sword or
Bombs (Bombs would be easier) and get the Heart Container, which
you will have 4 Hearts After doing that, head to the next room to
the right and get the first Triforce piece. Doing this, means you
     have offically beaten Level 1.

      --------------
  D: |Before Level 2|
      --------------

From Level 1 entrance (Area [E5]), head east 1, south 1, east 2.
You should now be in Area [H6], where there is a cave. Go in the
cave and talk to the Old Man. He will hand you a letter and say
"Show this to the Old Woman". You probably already know what this
letter is used for, so get it and leave the cave.

     (courtesy of The Big Hert)
Now for another item, which has been passed up many times. From
your current location, head west 1, south 1, east 1, and you will
be at a beach. Make sure it is 0:20 on your Clock. If not run
around collecting money from nearby screens. Once it hits 0:20, go
back to the beach, and a Heart Container will just be lying on the
beach waiting to be picked up. Get it and you will have 5 Hearts.

Remember this location, because you will be back here later in the
game. Time to head to Level 2, so head west 1, north 1, east 1,
north 2, west 1. Now you should be in Area [G4]. Around you there
should be a couple Red Tektikes, Blue Leevers and Peahats, and a
giant rock in the middle. Equip your Bombs and set one on the
center part of the rock. This will blow open a cave entrance. Go
inside and you will be in Level 2.

Welcome to Level 2. From the start of this level, go through the
doorway to the north. In here there will be 3 Red Goriya's. Kill
them and you will receive the Wooden Boomerang. After getting
that, continue north again, where there are 5 Vires in here and
the Compass. Kill the Vires, and get the Compass, then head north
again. In this room, there are 3 Stalfos, which one of them is
carrying a Key. Kill them and get the Key, and use it on the
locked door. Go through the door and there are 6 Ropes here and
two doorways to go through (one shut and one open). Kill the Ropes
and go to the left through the shut door (which will now be open).
In here, there are 2 Zols and a Map. Equip your Wooden Boomerang,
as you will need it, and kill the Zols. After that, get the Map
and head back one room east.

Now the Ropes have regenerated, so kill them off, and continue
east. Once in there, there is a set of Bombs in the middle of the
room, but nothing else. Grab the Bombs fast because after a few
seconds, it will fade away. After doing so, plant a bomb on the
wall heading north. It will open a secret pathway to the next
room, go through it. In this room there are 3 Red Goriya's and
another set of Bombs. Kill the Goriya's and use your Boomerang to
collect the Bombs, then go to the room on the left. There is a Key
here, but that's not all. There are also 6 Wall Masters here. Use
your Boomerang to stun them, until all 6 of them are revealed,
then attack them with your sword. This is the easiest way to
defeat these things. After doing that, get the Key, but don't go
to the lock door just yet. Instead bomb open the north wall to
reveal a secret tunnel leading to the room to the north. Go in and
you will see an Old Man, who says "Dodongo dislikes smoke", which
you probably knew that already right?

After this, head back down to the room you were just in, kill off
the Wall Masters, and head to the locked door. Use a key and enter
it, where you will see 4 Spike Traps, and a staircase in the
middle of the room, surrounded by blocks. Carefully make your way
around the Spike Traps and find the secret block to push. Doing so
will give you access to the staircase, which you will go down now.
This will lead you to a warp, which will take you to another part
of the level. Follow the warp to the other side, and you will be
face to face with the boss of this level, Dodongo. You should know
how to kill this dinosaur by now, just let loose a couple of Bombs
on it. Defeat Dodongo, and collect the Heart Container it drops,
which will give you 6 Hearts. After doing that, head north to the
next room to collect the 2nd Triforce Piece, which ends Level 2.

      --------------
  E: |Before Level 3|
      --------------

With 2 levels beaten, it's time to head off to Level 3. But first,
there are a couple things you should do first. First off, head to
Area [E7], to get there from Level 2, (Area [G4]), go east 1,
south 2, west 1, south 1, west 2, then enter the cave. Hopefully
you'll have 60 Rupies on you. If so, buy the Blue Candle, because
you will need it to uncover some more areas. After buying the Blue
Candle, leave the shop, and head west 1. You should now be in Area
[D7], which has a few Red Octoroks and a Zola, and some trees
blocking the way on the other side of the bridge. Kill what you
can (some Octoroks may reside on the other side of the trees), and
equip your Blue Candle. Use it on the trees, which they will burn,
then disappear. After the flame disappears, head west 2. You
should be in Area [B7], which has 4 Blue Moblins in it and some
trees. When entering this area, head out the south exit to
     Area [B8].

Once in Area [B8], you should see 3 paths leading back up to Area
[B7]. You came down the 3rd path. What you need to do is head up
the 1st or 2nd pathway leading back to Area [B7]. Once back in
Area [B7], you should see two lone trees sitting by themselves.
Equip your Blue Candle and burn the one on the left, which will
reveal a staircase leading underground. You'll see an Old Man, who
presents you with a Red Potion, and a Heart Container, but he says
"Take any one you want". Obviously you'll take the Heart
Container, which by doing so will give you 7 Hearts. Leave the
cave and head south 1. Burn the lone tree on the left to reveal
another underground cave. Go inside and you will see another Old
Man who says "Northwest, southwest to the Forest Of Maze". Of
course this talks about the Forest Maze before the Graveyard, but
don't listen to this Old Man. Instead wait, because once you beat
Level 4, it'll be easier to get through. Leave the cave and head
east 1, which will take you to Area [C8]. Here you will see a cave
entrance. Go inside and you will be in Level 3.

Welcome to Level 3. From the entrance, head through the north
door. In here, you will see 3 Zols, a Key and 2 doors, one leading
to the east and the other leading north. So which door to take?
Let's go north. Get the Key and head north. In this room, there
are 2 Keeses jumping around. Defeat them to receive another Key,
then continue northward. Once here, you will see 6 Vires and the
Compass. Kill the Vires and get the Compass and keep go north
again. Now you should see 3 Zols. Kill them and get a set of
Bombs. After doing that, plant a bomb on the north wall, which
will cause an opening leading north again. Go through the opening
and in here, there are 2 Keeses and 2 Zols in here, as well as a
locked door. Kill the Zols and Keeses and use a key on the locked
door. You won't get anything in here, so do as you like. Go
through the door, and you will see 2 Red Darknuts and a staircase.
Make your way to the staircase, avoiding the Darknuts. Once in the
staircase, you'll see the Raft, guarded by 4 Vires. Get the Raft
and head back to the room, then south 5 times.

Once you are back here, head through the east door. In here there
are 3 Red Goriya's. Kill them if you like, but you won't get
anything for it. Now there are 2 doors. Instead of going through
the door on the right, go through the south one. Don't worry about
the east door, you'll get to it soon enough. Once you go south.
Incidentally this is one of the newer underground rooms you'll
come across. Anyways, there is a set of Bombs on the island in the
southwest corner. Don't try getting it, because your Boomerang
won't reach it, instead head east. Here's a treat for you, in this
room, there are 9 Blue Rupies (45 Rupies total). Don't worry,
there will be more rooms like this in much later levels. Anyways
you'll notice they are in the shape of an arrow, pointing upwards.
What do you think this means? Well, collect the Blue Rupies and
use a Bomb on the north wall. This will cause an opening leading
to the north room. In here there are 5 Vires and a Key. Not to
mention 2 sets of blocks forming a path in the middle. Collect the
Key (don't worry about the Vires) and head back to middle section
     of this room.

Once back here, use a key on the lock door at the other side. You
don't have to worry about the Vires if you don't want to. Once you
go through the locked door. You will see 4 Zols and a Map and 2
doors. Kill the Zols, and collect the Map, then head through the
south door. In here, there are 2 Blue Goriya's and 4 Stone
Statues. Kill the Blue Goriya's and you will receive the Magic
Boomerang, which will replace your Wooden Boomerang. Grab it and
head back to the previous room, then continue north. In here there
are 6 Spike Traps and an open door. Quickly and carefully head
past the Spike Traps and through the door. In this new room, there
are 3 Blue Goriya's, a shut door and a couple blocks in the middle
of the room. Kill the Blue Goriya's, and push the left block to
open the shut door. Go through the door. When entering this room
you will see an Old Man who says "I hear a voice coming from the
next room", which actually when you go to the next room you don't
hear a thing. Anyways, use a bomb on the wall, and you will open a
doorway, go in it. In this room, there are 3 Keeses hopping around
and a staircase in the middle of the room. Kill the Keese's and
enter the staircase. This will take you to a warp.

Once you make your way through the warp, you will see 4 Vires and
a shut door in here. Kill the Vires, which will open the door way.
Go in the door, and you will see 2 Red Darknuts, and a locked
door. You won't get anything in here for killing the Darknuts, but
it's best to get rid of them so they won't be in your way, when
getting to the locked door. If they have any Bombs on them once
you kill them, that'll be a big help, for when you go in the next
room. Do as you like, then head through the locked door, using a
key. In here will be Manhandla, which is the End Boss of Level 3.
It's best to use Bombs on this thing to kill it quicker, but your
sword will work as well, just will take a bit longer to use. Kill
Manhandla, and collect the Heart Container it leaves behind. You
will now have 8 Hearts. After collecting it, go east and collect
the Triforce piece. You have now offically beaten Level 3.

      --------------
  F: |Before Level 4|
      --------------

Now that Level 3 has been beaten, it's time to head to Level 4.
But first there is something to get that will help you out first.
So from Level 3 entrance (Area [C8]), head west 1, to Area [B8].
Remember the 3 paths I told you about from the before in this
area? Well go up the 3rd one, which leads to Area [B7]. Now from
[B7], go north 1 (which you'll be in the Lost Woods), east 1
(which you'll be able to leave the Lost Woods), north 1 (remember
the dock in the water), then west 1. You should now be in Area
[B5], which has 2 Blue Octoroks and a Zola in it, as well as a
cave opening. At this point, make sure you have 250 Rupies on you,
because you will need it (which hearing the price, I'm sure you
know why). Go in the cave, and you will be in a shop. Buy the Blue
Ring for 250 Rupies, and you will better your defense by 50%.
Leave the cave, and head back to the dock where I told you to
remember (east 1 if you forgot). Go on to the dock and your Raft
will automatically be in affect. Once at the other side, you will
be in Area [C4], where you will see a Peahat and a cave entrance.
Go in the cave and it will take you inside Level 4.

     [---] = Nothing here

Welcome to Level 4. From the entrance, head through the left door.
In here there should be 5 Keeses and the Compass. Kill the Keeses
and get the Compass, then head back to the entrance. Now this time
head north. The room is dark so use your Blue Candle in here.
There are also 5 Zols in here. Kill them to get a Key. After
getting the Key, head north. In here, you'll see 5 Vires. Kill
them to receive a set of Bombs. Instead of going through the north
door, use a Bomb on the east wall, which will make an opening. Go
through it, and use your Blue Candle to light up the room. You
should see a Key and a waterway seperating this room. Get the Key
and head back to previous room, and then continue north again. In
this room, you'll notice the room is dark (which is a common theme
for this level) as well as 3 Red Darknuts. Defeat them to get a
set of Bombs, then go through the doorway on the right. Now you
will see that there are 2 Zols, 4 Spike Traps and the Map. Kill
the Zols if you like, and get the Map. Just be careful around the
Spike Traps. After this, head back to the previous room. Now make
your way around the Red Darknuts and head north.

In this room, you will see a very updated looking Moldrum. This
time around Moldrum is slightly tougher, but not too tough. Kill
it, and another one will appear. Kill both of them and you will
receive a Blue Rupy. After this, head north and use a key on the
locked door. In this room, there are 3 Zols and 2 Bubbles. You
won't get anything for killing the Zols, so just continue north.
In this room, there are 4 Vires and Spikes Traps. Nothing won't be
gained in here either, so just go through the door on the right,
using a key of course. You should see 3 Keeses. Kill them if you
like, but once again you won't get anything. You'll also notice a
locked door to the south, but don't worry about that, quite yet,
instead head north. In this room, you'll come across 2 Zols and
Like Likes, and a Bubble. If you recall the trick of letting a
Like Like capture you (from Legend Of Zelda 1), and use it as a
sheild against other enemies. Well skip that idea as well, because
if it captures you, it will drain your life so long as you are in
it. Defeat the enemies in here, and you will receive a set of
     Bombs.

Now go east, where an Old Man will be at. He will say "There are
weak living things", which I'm guessing he's talking about the
Gels and Vires, but I could be wrong. Anyways, head back to the
previous room and this time head west. In here, there are 2 Red
Darknuts and a staircase surrounded by blocks. Defeat the Darknuts
and you will receive a Key. After getting the Key, push the secret
block so you can enter the staircase. Once inside, you'll be in an
underground area, where you will see the Flute. Actually for this
game, it's referred to as the Ocarina (as in Zelda 64: Ocarina Of
Time), but I perfer calling it the "Flute". Defeat the 4 Vires and
get the Flute, then head back east one room. Once back in here,
defeat the Red Darknuts again, to hopefully get a set of Bombs. If
successful, use a Bomb on the west wall to blow open a doorway. Go
in this room and there is another Old Man who says "I bet you'd
like to have more bombs", which we all know what that means! But
oddly enough he sells them for 50 rupies and not 100 Rupies, oh
well, not complaining here! Anyways buy the Bombs and you will
have a max of 12 Bombs, but later in the game, you'll be knocked
back down to 8 Bombs, which I don't know why. Now head back to the
     previous room.

Now you can able to get through that locked door from before. Go
through it and, in this room, there are 3 Zols. Kill them to get a
Blue Rupy, then head south once more. In here, there are 3 Vires,
1 Like Like and 1 Bubble, as well as a staircase. You won't get
anything in this room, so just head to the staircase. Doing so
will take you to a warp. After going through the warp, you should
now be in a new room. There should be 2 Red Darknuts as well as 2
Pol's Voices in here. You won't get anything in here, so just go
through the doorway on the west on wall. Once in here, you will
come across the End Boss for this level, which is Digdogger. Like
before, use your Flute to break it down. But this time, you can't
use your Boomerang to stun the smaller pieces, so you're stuck
using your Bombs and Sword. Once you have successfully beaten
Digdogger, collect the Heart Container it leaves behind. Now you
will have 9 Hearts. Now head north, and collect thr 4th Triforce
piece. You have now beaten Level 4.

      --------------
  G: |Before Level 5|
      --------------

Now that you have beaten Level 4, it's time to head to Level 5.
But first there is a couple important items to pick up first. So
from Level 4 entrance (Area [C4]), head south, using your Raft to
get to the dock in Area [C5]. Once there, head west 1, south 1.
You will now be in the Lost Woods (Area [B6]), which actually
since you beat Level 4, this area isn't a maze anymore, which is
very odd. Anyways, go west 1, north 1 (Area [A5]). This is a new
area added to the Graveyard section (Watch out for the Lynels!).
What's odd is that before Level 4, this area was filled with
tornadoes, that if you got caught by one, it'll send you one
screen south (Area [A6]), but since you beaten Level 4, the
     tornadoes are gone.

Anyways, make your way up north 2, and you will be in the actual
Graveyard (Area [A3]), but it's made up of one screen only. Pull
the infamous Ghini Trick if you want, after doing so, push the
middle tombstone in the 2nd column from the left in any direction
to reveal a staircase leading underground. Go in and you will see
an Old Man, who will say "Master using it and you can have it" and
he will present you with the White Sword. Assuming you have
followed my walkthrough up to this point, you should have enough
hearts to use the White Sword (it takes 6 Heart Pieces). Get the
White Sword and your attack power will double.

Now you need something else before heading to Level 5. Remember
where you got the Blue Ring at (Area [B5])? Well get back there
again. Either walk or use your Flute to teleport you to Level 4
(which is the closest to Area [B5]) This time you need to buy a
Food Bait for 60 Rupies, which I'm sure you have that on you. Once
at Area [B5], go in the shop and buy the Food Bait for 60 Rupies,
then leave. Now it's time to head to Level 5. It's probably best
you teleport to Level 2 (Area [G4]). From there, go east 1, then
sail across the river from the dock. It should take you to Area
[H3]. You should see a cave entrance as well as 2 Blue Leevers. Go
in the cave and the Old Man in there will tell you "Climb the
cliff behind the guarded grave", which is a hint on how to get to
Level 5. Leave the cave and go west 1, north 1, east 1. Now you
should be in Area [H2]. You should see 2 Peahats, 4 sleeping Armos
and a grave. Nothing can be done with the grave, but if you go
directly north of it, you'll be able to climb (or go right
through) the mountain. By doing this, you should be in Area [H1].
There is a cave entrance, and a Red Leever here. Kill the Red
Leever, and go in the cave. You will now be in Level 5.

Welcome to Level 5. From the entrance, go through the north door.
In here, there are 2 Red Darknuts, and 2 doors, one of which is
locked and one that is opened. You won't get anything for killing
the Red Darknuts, so just go through the opened door. This is a
dark room so use your Blue Candle. There are also 2 Bubbles. Avoid
these things, and head to the door on the other side. In here
there are 3 Gibdos and a couple of blocks in the middle, as well
as a shut door. Kill the Gibdos first to receive a set of Bombs.
Then after getting the Bombs, push the right block to open the
shut door. Go through the door. In this room you will see 4 Vires,
1 Bubble and a Key. Get the Key and head through the south door.
In here you will see a dark room and the Map in the middle of it.
But there's more, 8 Wall Masters comes out. Defeat them for some
quick money. After all of that, head to the west wall and use a
Bomb there. You will open a doorway, so go through it, where you
will see, a Fairy? That's right, one of the new features for the
game. Fairies can be found in underground levels as well as in the
Overworld. They work like regular one that are at Fairy Ponds.

If you're low on life, go up to it, and it will refill your lost
life. The good thing is, these are infinite, so use these to your
advantage. Now head through the door on the leftside. In here
there is an Old Man who says "There's a secret with the soldier's
statue", which I think talks about the Armos that holds the
Braclet (which I will get to after Level 6), but I could be wrong.
Anyways, leave here and head back to the previous room. Once
there, use a bomb on the northwall, to make a doorway appear, then
go through it, then west 2 rooms. Now that you have a Key on you,
you can use it on that locked door. Do that and go through the
door and you will see 4 Red Wizzrobes. Sure they don't look red,
but everything else is either "red" or "blue" so you do the math
^_^. Anyways, defeat them and you will get a set of Bombs. Collect
it and head north again. In here, you should see 3 Zols and a Key
in the middle of the room. You can't get the Key quite yet, so
just kill the Zols and move on to the room to the north, where you
will see one of the shopkeepers from the Overworld. He will say
     "My stomach grumbles".

Remember that Food Bait I told you to buy before coming here? Well
equip it and give it to him, and he will disappear, making way for
you to continue. But before you do that, let's take a moment here.
The Food Bait is suppose to be used on enemies (preferably a Red
Goriya in this case). So if that's true, why is a shopkeeper wants
it? And furthermore, why is a shopekeeper in an underground level
for? Between you and me though, it looks more like a monkey hehe.
He actually looks like Link, does this mean Links a fairy monkey?
Stuff to ponder while you're bored! Well after that moment of
useless talk, head north again. This room should look familiar,
that is if you got through Level 9 of the 2nd quest of the first
Zelda. Well, as well there is the Compass in here. Push the middle
block, and get the Compass. Then go to the left wall, use a Bomb
and enter through the door. Don't worry about this room for a
little bit, instead head back in the hole and push the block
again. This time head north, where you will see 2 Blue Darknuts
and 2 blocks in the middle of the room. Bare in mind, once you
step in this room, the door will shut on you. Keep this mind, when
coming back here. Kill the Blue Darknuts, and push the left block
to reveal a secret staircase. Go in the staircase and it will take
     you to Warp A.

Take Warp A to the other side. Once you arrive in this new room,
you will be greeted by 3 Gibdo's. You won't get anything for
killing them. Instead of going through the south door, go to the
west wall and use a Bomb on it. A doorway will appear, so go
through it and it will take you to a secret room. In here there is
an Old Man who will say "I'd bet you'd like to have more bombs",
and will sell you more Bombs for 100 Rupies. Whether you do it is
your choice, but after that, head back to the first room you were
in, then south. Now this room can be a pain. There are 3 Dodongo's
in here, and you're probably back to just 8 Bombs max, unless you
bought more, which will mean you have 12 Bombs max. Anyways, kill
the 3 Dodongos. You won't get anything for it, but you will get to
open the door that is shut, that's on the south wall. Go through
that door. In here there are 2 Bubbles, as well as a staircase.
Avoid the Bubbles and get into the staircase. This will take you
to an underground area. In here, you will see the Stepladder,
which is of course guarded by 4 Vires. Kill the Vires and get the
Stepladder (this item will become very helpful from here on out).
After getting the Stepladder, head back to Warp A, and take it
     back to the other side.

Once you are back to the other side, head south 3 times. Now that
you have your Stepladder, you can get that Key off the center
portion of that room. After getting the Key head back north twice,
then west to. In here, there are 3 Zols, 4 Spike Traps, as well as
a couple doors (one locked and one opened). You won't get anything
in this room, so just go through the north door first. You should
be in a room where there is an Old Man in here. He will say "The
next level is at the beach", which of course he's talking about
Level 6, but let's finish Level 5 first. Head back to the previous
room, then south again, using the Key on the locked door. In here
there are 4 Red Wizzrobes. Kill them to receive a set of Bombs.
Get the Bombs and head through the door towards the south. In this
room, there are 6 Spike Traps, but nothing more.

Make your way past all of them, and continue going south. This
time there are 2 Blue Wizzrobes here. You won't get anything for
killing them, so just keep going south. In this room, there are 4
Vires and 2 Stone Statues in here. Kill them to get another set of
Bombs, and once again, go through the south door. In here, there
is a Red Darknut and Blue Darknut. Kill them and you will get a
Blue Rupy. Also notice the center block. Well push it, and a
staircase will appear. Get the Blue Rupy, and go through the
staircase. This will take you to Warp B. Once you you get through
Warp B, you will end up in another part of this level. In here
there are 3 Gibdo's and a Bubble. Kill the Gibdo's and the shut
door will open. Go through it. In this new room, there are 2 Blue
Darknuts in here. You won't get anything for killing them, so just
continue going east. Now there are 3 Gibdo's and a shut door. Kill
the Gibdo's and push the right block to open the door, then go
     through it.

You should be in the same room where you will see the End Boss of
this level, which is Parta. How odd that Parta would be an End
Boss, knowing it was only seen in Level 9 of the first Zelda game,
and what's even odder, is that Parta looks like a bunch of one-eye
flies? Anyways, defeat the Small Parta's first, then head after
the big one. After that, collect the Heart Container it drops,
which you will now have 10 Hearts, then head east. In here, you
will see the 5th Triforce piece. Get it and you will have beaten
     Level 5.

      --------------
  H: |Before Level 6|
      --------------

Well, now you are halfway through the game. Pretty fun adventure
isn't it. Well, after beating Level 5, you should be back in Area
[H1]. Remember that shopkeeper you fed inside Level 5? Well look
who's standing outside of the entrance! And check out what he's
selling, a Blue Potion for 10 Rupies. Take advantage of this deal
as much as you can! Anyways, not only that, but now that you have
your Stepladder, you can explore more of Hyrule, so let's do that
right now. From Area [H1], go south 1, west 1, and use a Bomb on
the upper wall, I'd say, close to the right side of this area. You
will uncover an underground cave. Go inside, and you will see 9
Blue Rupies (45 Rupies total). Collect them, and leave this cave.

Now go up the ladder north, and on this screen you should see a
doorway. Make your way around the Red Lynel, and Zola. Once
inside, you will see an Old Man, who will say "Right now, I'm
searching for the Magic Sword". Keep this in mind, because this
will be very important very soon. Leave the cave and head south 1,
east 3, south 1 (crossing the river), then south 1 again. You
should be in Area [H5], where there are 2 Red and Blue Octorocks,
a Zola and a Heart Container sitting on a dock. With your
Stepladder, get the Heart Container, which you will now have 11
Hearts. Now head south 1, west 1, south 2, west 3 (passing the
start of the game). You should be in Area [D8], where there is a
Red and 2 Blue Leevers, as well as a Zola and 2 Peahats.

You'll also notice a dock and some land on the other side, with a
cave entrance. Go to the dock and use the Stepladder to get
across. Go in the cave, and there will be an Old Man in there. He
will say "Take any one you want" and offer you a Heart Container
and a Red Potion. Take the Heart Container, which you will now
have 12 Hearts, and leave the cave. Now for something else to get.
Once you leave the cave, use the Flute and teleport to Level 4
(Area [C4]), then go south 1 (across the river), then west 1. Go
in the cave entrance. This is the same shop you went to, to buy
the Blue Ring, but this time buy the Arrow for 80 Rupies, so that
your Bow and Arrow set will be complete, which is important,
because you will need it for Level 6. Leave the cave, then use the
Flute to teleport to Level 1 (Area [E5]).

From here, go east 1, south 1, east 1, south 1, east 1. You should
now be in Area [H7]. Make sure your clock says 2:35 before coming
here. Here there will be 3 Red Leevers and a Zola, and some
strange looking mark on the beach, which wasn't there before hand
(if you explored this area already). Funny this mark looks like
the Flute? What could it mean? Well stand on it and play the Flute
and see what happens. After some rumbling, a funny looking cave
appears out of the water. Go inside it, and it will take you to
     Level 6.

Welcome to Level 6. Before I get to the walkthrough for this
level, it is important you finish this level very quickly, because
from here on out, to unlock anything further, it will be based on
the Clock. Anyways, from the starting room, go north. Get ready
for a treat, because in 6 rooms in this level, there are several
Blue Rupies in each, which will help rack up your money score.
Good thing there isn't a limit on how much money you can get!
Anyways, in this room there are 6 Blue Rupies (30 Rupies total).
Collect all 6 of them, and head north. In here there are 2 Zols
and Bubbles. You won't get anything in here, so just go north.
Don't worry, we'll come back to the locked door soon. In the room
you went through (another orignally designed room), there are 3
Ropes and 2 Vire, as well as 2 shut doors. Kill the Vire and Ropes
and the north door will open. Push the secret block to open the
other door. Go through the door you opened on the east. In here
there are 10 Blue Rupies scattered about (50 Rupies total). This
room is dark, and it would probably be best if you use your Blue
Candle, because this can be a tricky room to get through. Collect
all the Rupies and make your way to the other side. Go through the
door. In here is a Fairy and a Key. You can't reach the Fairy, so
just get the Key and head back west twice.

Once back in here, kill the Ropes and Vires again, and this time
head north. In here, there will be a Moldrom in here. Kill it, and
you'll receive 6 Blue Rupies (30 Rupies total). Collect them and
continue north. You should be in a room, where there are 4 Ropes
and 4 more Blue Rupies (20 Rupies total). Kill the Ropes and
collect the Rupies, then head north again. In here, you'll have to
deal with Digdogger. No this isn't the End Boss, but you will have
to kill it to progress further in the level. Play the Flute, and
kill this thing, so that the shut door will open. Go through that
door. In here there are 2 Pol's Voices and Like Likes, as well as
the Map. Don't think about using Arrows on the Pol's Voice,
because it won't work, so just kill them with your Sword.

After that, get the Map, and use a Bomb on the north wall, to
reveal a secret doorway. Go through it, and you will see an Old
Man, who says "Aim at the eye of Gohma", like you didn't know that
right? After this head back to the previous room, then continue
south. You will see a Key and a set of Bombs. Since the Bombs is
easier to get, get those first. Worry about the Key shortly. After
getting the set of Bombs, head south, but don't use any Bombs.
Instead walk right through the wall, yes the famous "walk through
the wall" bit is here, but only this one time in the game. Once
you walk through it, you will be in a secret room. No enemies
here, but there is a staircase in the middle of the room.

Go to it and it will take you to an underground area. Once in
there, you will see the Magic Wand, and 4 Vires guarding it. Kill
the Vires and get the Magic Wand, then head back above ground.
After doing that, head back through the wall, then north again.
After that go west, then south, where you got the 4 Blue Rupies
beforehand. Once you are back in here, use a Bomb on the east
wall, to reveal another pathway. Go through it, and you will be
back in the room before the secret room. Get the key, and head
back west, then south 3 times. Once back in here, use a Key on the
locked door, then go through it. In this room, there are 2 Pol's
Voices and the Compass. Get the Compass and use a Bomb on the east
wall, to reveal a pathway, which you will go through. In here,
there are 2 Zols and Vires, and a Bubble. Kill them to get a Blue
Rupy (5 Rupies total). Low on life? Go north and refill any lost
life, then head back to the room you were in. Now use a Key on the
door to the south, and go through it.

In this room, you will see 4 Spike Traps, and 4 Ropes, as well as
a staircase. Don't worry about the staircase, or the Ropes for
that matter (you won't get anything in here) just go south again.
In here there is 2 Blue Rupies (10 Rupies total), a Key and 2 Like
Likes. Don't worry about the Like Like's, just get the Rupies and
Key and head back to the previous room. Go in the staircase and it
will take you to Warp A. Once you make your way through Warp A. In
here there are 3 Gibdo's and a locked door. You won't get anything
for killing the Gibdo's, but to make it easier in here, you should
kill them nonetheless. After doing that, use a Key on the locked
door and go through it. Now you will be eye to eye with the End
Boss, Gohma (bad pun I know!). Equip your Bow and Arrow, and wait
until its eye open. One shot should do it. After that, it will
drop a Heart Container. Get it and you will have 13 Heart Pieces.
So now how much money did you rack up on this level alone? Well,
not including what monsters dropped, I counted 145 Rupies. Of
course the next level will have alot more in it! After all of
this, go north. You will see the 6th Triforce piece. Get it and
you will have beaten Level 6.

      --------------
  I: |Before Level 7|
      --------------

Before we get to finding Level 7, there are some items to be
picked up first. Just as you beat Level 6, it should be 3:00
according to the clock. Now here's the deal, you will have 45
minutes to get through Level 7 and 8 as well as find three items.
Can it be done, that's up to you! So where are they? First let's
get the Power Bracelet. To get there is simple, but first there's
a few things that can be done along the way. You should still be
in Area [H7]. It should be storming, this is a must! From your
current location, go west 1, north 1, west 1, north 2.

Cross the water gap, then go west 2. You should see 4 Zolas, and a
set of Bombs on the island. Get close to the top of the screen and
equip your Boomerang. Now try and throw your Boomerang diagonal to
get the set of Bombs (it's not really hard to do, just press the
"LEFT" and "DOWN" arrow keys at the same time). After that,
continue north 1, west 1. Use a Bomb on the upper wall, between
the staircase and left side (I'd say in the middle somewheres) and
you will uncover a cave entrance. Go in and there will be an Old
Man who presents you with another Red Potion and Heart Container,
and says the same thing "Take any one you want". Take the Heart
Container, and you will have 14 Hearts. Leave the cave and head
west 1. You should see a cave entrance as well as 3 Blue Leevers.
This is a compellation of different tips I have received compiled
     together to make the following:

(courtesy of Justin Lowe, ChronoStriker1 and Iron Mouse)
Go in the cave, and there will be an Old Man who says "It is lucky
that Armos still sleeps", which I thought if you used the Flute on
them, it would wake them up, but I found out I was wrong. Leave
the cave, then go south 1. You will see another cave entrance. Go
inside and the Old Man will say "Pay me and I'll talk". It will
only cost 10 Rupies, so go ahead. The old Man will say a variety
of different things each time you pay him 10 Rupies. This is what
     he will say:

"A room in Level 5 doesn't appear on the map"
"The Red Candle is in the cellar in Level 7"
"The bible sits in a secret room in Level 8"
"For the Silver Arrow, push a block in Level 8"
"The Power Bracelet is under 8 bodies of Armos"
"If you can't reach it, use the Boomerang"

(Keep in mind, he will say these things in no particular order)

Pay attention to the fact about the Power Bracelet being under 8
bodies of Armos. Leave this cave, then head north 2 (using the
staircase), and you will see 8 dormant Armos. Keep this in mind.
Head west and you will see 4 Red Lynels, and some rocks in the
formation of an arrow. First off, use a Bomb towards the left side
(near the slant) and you will uncover a cave entrance. Go inside
and you will see 9 Blue Rupies. Get the Rupies and leave the cave.
It needs to be 3:08, but if not, goof around the area killing
enemies and collecting stuff. Once it hits 3:08 however the storm
will stop. Now go to the screen south of where the 8 Armos are. Go
back in that cave and this time the Old Man will say "Life was
blown into Armos". With that, all the Armos (throughout the game)
will be awaken. Leave the cave then head back up to the 8 Armos.
Push the 3rd Armos (from the left) on the top row, and underneath
it will be the Power Bracelet.

After getting the Power Bracelet. It's time to head to Level 7.
From Area [B2], head east 1. You will see 3 boulders blocking a
staircase. Push the one pointing south, to either the left or
right. Watch out for the Red Lynels though, they can hurt you big
time. Now walk up the staircase, then go east 3. Use a Bomb on the
upper wall, close to where it slants diagonally near the middle.
Watch out for falling Rocks! (pun intended) You will uncover a
cave entrance. Go in and there will be 9 Blue Rupies (45 Rupies
total). Collect them then leave the cave. After doing that, head
south down either staircase and you will be in Area [F2]. Here you
will see a cave entrance. Go inside and you will be in Level 7.
Since you got the Power Bracelet at 3:08, you will have exactly 17
minutes to find and beat Level 7. Hopefully my walkthrough for
     Level 7 will help.

NOTE: Once using Warp B, you will end up in [A4]. When you do get
there, there will be no way to go through the warp. So Warp B is
     just a one-way warp.

Welcome to Level 7. Pay close attention, this level can be
confusing. At the entrance, there are 2 ways to go, north or
east. How about we go east. Do so, you will see 3 Blue Darknuts
and a Key. Try to avoid the Blue Darknuts if you can, and just get
the Key. After which, head back to the previous room, then head
north. In here, it is dark, so use your Blue Candle. There are
also 3 Gibdo's and a Bubble in here. You won't get anything from
killing the Gibdo's so just go through the east door. In here
there will be an Old Man who says "If you're to fight Ganon, find
the Silver Arrow" like we didn't know this right? Notice how "If"
is spelled, messed up don't you think ^_^. Anyways, head east
again where, there will be 3 Red Wizzrobes and the Compass. Kill
the Wizzrobes if you like, and get the Compass, then head back to
Back west 2 rooms. Once back here, head west once more, where you
will see a Bubble, 4 Spike Traps and a set of Bombs. Get the set
of Bombs, and carefully make your way to the locked door. Use a
key to open it, and go through it. In this room, you will see 2
Blue Wizzrobes as well as Bubbles. You'll also see a staircase.
You won't get anything in here, for killing the Blue Wizzrobes, so
go to the staircase. It will take you to Warp A.

Once you go through Warp A, in this new room, you will be greeted
by 3 Red Wizzrobes. Kill them if you like, you will get a set of
Bombs for your efforts. Now this is just weird. There are 2 Partas
(side by side mind you), and they are flying around like flies.
Double trouble indeed, but it's not too tough, because they start
doing some circle manuver, which makes it easy to kill them. Do so
and you will receive a Blue Rupy (5 Rupies total). You'll notice a
door to the north opening, but don't go that way. Instead use a
Bomb on the west wall, which will open a secret doorway, leading
to a secret room (there are 6 secret rooms in this level). In this
secret room, you will see 8 Blue Rupies (40 Rupies total) just
sitting here. Collect the Blue Rupies, and continue going west.
You will end up in another secret room by doing this.

And in here there are 5 Blue Rupies (25 Rupies total) and a Fairy
in the middle of the room. Collect the Blue Rupies, and heal
yourself with the Fairy, then head north. This is the third secret
room you'll come across. In here there will be 8 more Blue Rupies
(40 Rupies total) waiting to be collected. Collect them, then use
a Bomb on the east wall to blow open a pathway to the next room.
In here you will see 4 Vires, a shut door and a Key between 2 sets
of blocks forming a path, and a staircase on the north side of the
blocks. What to do, well, get the Key first, then kill the Vires
and the door will open. What about the staircase? We'll get to it
soon. Now go through the door. Easy enough room to get through.
Nothing is in here, so push the center block, and go north. Use a
key on the locked door, and go through it.

In this room, there will be 3 Blue Darknuts in here, and an open
door to the left. Kill the Blue Darknuts to get a set of Bombs,
then head through the door on the left. Now you should see a Like
Like, Bubble and 2 Red Wizzrobes. You won't get anything in here
if you kill the Red Wizzrobes and Like Like, so instead, just use
a Bomb on the south wall, which will open a pathway back to the
previous. Now you will be able to get into the staircase. Once you
get in the staircase, you will be in an underground area, where
you will see the Red Candle. Get it and it will replace your Blue
Candle, then head back through Warp A. Once you get back to the
room where Warp A originated from, go north, then head through the
door on the left. In here, well, there isn't anything in here. No
items, no enemies. With it being a dark room, kinda makes it
creepy. Anyways, head across the room to the other side, and go
through the door. In here, there are 3 Gibdo's, 2 Zols, and a Key
(what you think I would say a "partridge and pare tree"). Kill the
Gibdos and Zols if you want, then collect the Key. After doing
     that, head north.

In here, you will see 2 Blue Darknuts and Stone Statues. Kill the
Blue Darknuts for a set of Bombs. Then use a Bomb on the east
wall, to make way for a pathway leading to another set of secret
rooms. In the first one, there will be 8 Blue Rupies (40 Rupies
total) in here. Collect them and continue east. This second room
also has 8 Blue Rupies (40 Rupies total) as well as a Key. Collect
the Blue Rupies and Key, and head north. In this final secret
room, there's 8 more Blue Rupies in here (40 Rupies total).
Collect them, then head back to the room directly north of the
room you started this level in. Once you are back in this room,
head north. There are 6 Vires, and a locked door, but you won't
get anything for killing the Vires. So instead use a Key on the
locked door at the north and go in it. There's 2 Bubbles in this
room, but nothing else, so just keep going. In here, there are 2
Blue Wizzrobes and Zols, and a Bubble. Kill the Blue Wizzrobes and
Zols for a set of Bombs, then head north. In here, there will be 2
Blue Darknuts, a Bubble, and the Map. Kill the Blue Darknuts to
open the shut door, then get the Map, then head back to the
     previous room.

Once you are back here, use a Bomb on the west wall, to open
secret pathway. Go in the hole, and once you are in this new room,
you will see 2 Red Darknuts and Gibdo's and a Key. This is a dark
room, so you may want to use your Red Candle. Kill the Gibdos and
Red Darknuts if you like, then get the key, then head through the
north door. There will be an Old Man in here who says "The
Triforce has to be complete to defeat Ganon". What I find funny
about this game, is it always states the obvious lol. Anyways,
after this, head back to previous room, then use a Key on the
locked door, and go through it. In here, there will be 3 Red
Wizzrobes, a Blue Wizzrobe and a Key. Try to avoid the Wizzrobes
and get the Key, then head north. Now you should see a Fairy in
here, so refill any lost life in here, then head back to the
previous room, then head south from there. In this room, you will
see 3 Gibdo's and a Bubble. Kill the Gibdo's and then push the
right block to open the shut door. You will also cause a staircase
to appear, but don't go in it.

It leads to Warp B, which if you take this warp, it will lead to a
room, which has no warp back. So you would have to go all the way
around just to get to your current position. Instead go through
the open door on the left. In this room, there are 4 Spike Traps
and a locked door. Use a Key on the locked door, and go through
the door way. You will now be up against Manhandla. No this isn't
the End Boss, but that will be coming up very shortly. Kill
Manhandla with your Bombs or Sword, then push the secret block to
uncover a staircase. Go in it, and it will take you to Warp C.
Once you make it through Warp C, you will see 4 Vires, and a shut
door. Kill the Vires, and the door will open. Go in it and you
will be up against the End Boss, which is Aquamentis again. This
Aquamentis will be a bit tougher to kill than the first one, but
kill it and it will drop a Heart Container. Collect it, and you
will have 15 Hearts, then go into the room on the right. In here,
collect the 7th Triforce piece and you will have beaten Level 7.

      --------------
  J: |Before Level 8|
      --------------

     (courtesy of Iron Mouse)
There is one more Triforce piece to get, and that's in Level 8.
But before we do that, we got some running around to do first, and
fast! From outside of Level 7, equip your Flute and teleport
yourself to Level 5. This shouldn't take long to do. Once there,
go south 1, west 1, south 1, west 2, north 1. You should be in
Area [G4]. This should look familiar, because it's where that Old
Man was who was talking about the Magic Sword. Go in the cave and
he will now say "The strongest sword is the Magical Sword" and
present you with the Magic Sword. Get it then leave the cave,
because there is more work to be done. Equip the Flute once more,
and teleport yourself to Level 4. From the entrance, go down 1,
right 1. Equip your Red Candle, and burn the corner tree. A
staricase will appear. Go in it, and you will see a friendly
Moblin who will say "It's a secret to everyone". Get the Rupy in
the middle, and the Moblin will give you 100 Rupies. Now leave the
cave quickly and go down 1, left 1, down 1, and then you will be
     in Area [C7].

You should see 2 Armos standing there. Push the one on the left
and a staircase leading to a cave will appear. Enter the cave and
you will see an Old Man who will say "Let us grant you this Red
Ring" and will present you with the Red Ring. Now get it and leave
the cave. Now if you did as I said, it should be 3:28 (give or
take a minute). This means you have exactly 17 minuntes to find
Level 8 and beat it, before you can beat the final level. So equip
your Flute again, and teleport to Level 7. Once there, go up the
staircase, then head west 4, which you should be in Area [B1].
There should be 2 Red Lynels and a Blue Lynel as well as a Blue
Leever. You will also see 2 giant rocks, which actually looks like
Spectacle Rock from Legend Of Zelda 1. Anyways, use a Bomb on the
left giant rock, and a cave entrance will appear. Go in and you
will be in Level 8. Don't waste time though, because you have only
17 minutes to beat the level in.

Welcome to Level 8. This is a first for Zelda games, atleast in my
opinion. In the room you start this level in, push a certain block
to uncover a staircase leading underground. Go inside it and you
will see the Silver Arrows, which is guarded by 4 Vires. Of course
it's been rumored that these don't exist in this game, but they
do! You need these to beat Ganon in Level 9, so go collect them
and head back up to starting room. Once back here, head north. In
here there will be 3 Zols. Defeat them to receive a Key, then use
a Bomb on the east wall to reveal a pathway. Go in here and you
will see 8 Blue Rupies (40 Rupies total) and the Magic Book just
laying out here. Sorry this is the only room with lots of Rupies,
which sucks! Collect the Blue Rupies and Magic Book, then head
back to the previous room. Once back in here, head west, where you
will see 3 Gibdo's and Spike Traps. You won't get anything for
killing the Gibdo's, so just go through the other doorway heading
     north.

In this room, you will see just the Compass, but nothing more.
Easy room? Well, it seems that there are blocks hidden in here, to
make it difficult to get through. Don't use your Red Candle,
because they won't appear. Anyways grab the Compass, and use a
Bomb on the west wall to reveal another pathway. Go through the
pathway, and in the next room there will be a Fairy. Refill any
lost life, then head back to the previous room. Once back in there
continue going east. In this room, there is 2 Red Wizzrobes, and a
Blue Wizzrobe. You won't get anything in here for killing the
Wizzrobes, so just keep going east. In this room, you will see a
Dodongo. Use your Bombs on it, and you will receive a set of Bombs
in exchange. Now head through the locked door, using a Key of
course. In this room, you will see an Old Man, who says "Use the
sword to stop Ganon, then shoot an arrow" which you know that
     right?

Now head back to the previous room, and then head through the door
thats open on the north side. Now this is another originally
designed room. In here are 5 Vires and the Map. Use your Boomerang
to kill the Vires, then push the secret block out of the way so
you can get the Map and continue north. Here's another originally
designed room. But this time there are 3 Red Wizzrobes and a Blue
Wizzrobe. You won't get anything for killing them, so quickly make
your way around this room to the doorway on the west side. Go
through it and in the new room, there are 3 Red Darknuts. You
won't get anything here either, but it's best to kill them so they
can be out of the way, because this can be a tight room to get
through. Go through the other door. There will be 3 Like Likes and
a Bubble, but you won't get anything in here for killing the
Bubbles, so just go through the door on the west side. In this
room, there are 2 Blue Darknuts, but like before, nothing in here
to get once you kill them. So just go through the north door. In
here you will see Parta, and a block in the center. Kill Parta
first then push the block out of the way. You won't get anything,
but you will get a staircase to appear. Go in it, and it will take
     you to Warp A.

Once you get through Warp A, you will be in a new room. In here,
you will notice it looks like the same room a Triforce piece would
be in, but there isn't a Triforce piece here? With this, simply go
north and in here there are 4 Spike Traps, but nothing more.
Carefully make your way around them and continue going north. In
here, there is an Old Man who will say "The man next door can show
you to the arrow", which since I told you where the Silver Arrows
were, this would seem pretty pointless. Either way go through the
door on the west side. When you go in here, and stand along the
wall, 6 Green Wall Masters will come out. Be careful, because if
they grab you, they will take you back to the room where you start
this level off at. You won't get anything for killing them, so
just go through the door to the south.

In this room, there are 3 Dodongos in here, so make sure you have
plenty of Bombs. Kill them to receive a set of Bombs and the south
shut door will open. Go through it and you will see Aquamentis
now. This Aquamentis however is a bit tough. It will start off as
green, then go to blue, then red. It's best just to use your sword
on it. You won't get anything for killing it, but the shut door
leading west will open. Go through it and you will see a very
weird looking monster in here shooting fireballs at you. However
I'm not sure what it's called. You won't get anything for killing
it, so just go north. In this room, you will be against the End
Boss which is 2 Blue Gohmas. This can be tough since there are 2
of them, but it shouldn't be too hard. Equip your Bow and Arrow
and shoot each of them 2 times in the eye. Once they are killed, a
Heart Container will appear. Get it and you will have 16 Hearts.
Now go through the door to the north. Here will be the final
Triforce piece. Collect it and you will have the whole Triforce
completed. Now it's time to face Ganon in Level 9. And where it
is, is in the most unlikely of places.

  K: |Before Level 9|
      --------------

Well all 8 pieces have been collected, now it's time for Level 9,
and you need to get there before 3:45. Once outside of Level 8,
equip your Flute again, and this time teleport to Level 6. Once
back at Level 6, go west 2, south 1, and you will be in Area [H6].
If this place looks familiar, it should, because this is where you
started the game at. Now it must be 3:45 (which it will be
storming at that time). If it hasn't hit that time, go around in
the area collecting money or stuff. But once it hits 3:45, go in
the cave, and the Old Man will say "Heed my words" (which this is
what he'll say everytime you come in here). Keep in mind, it must
be 3:45, not a minute more, not a minute less, before you can
     enter Level 9.

      ---------------------
     |LEVEL 9: Ganon's Cave|
      ---------------------

          A
        -----
     1 |[ZEL]|
       | | |
     2 |[GAN]|
       | | |
     3 |[TRI]|
       | | |
     4 |[STR]|
        -----

     TREASURE = Princess Zelda ([A1])
     END BOSS = Ganon ([A2])

     LEGEND:
     [STR] = Start
     [TRI] = Triforce
     [GAN] = Ganon
     [ZEL] = Princess Zelda

Welcome to the final level, Level 9. Now oddly enough, you don't
have to have all 8 Triforce Pieces in order to access this level,
just 6. But it would be more appropriate to have all 8 ^_^. When
you come in the cave this time, it will be counted as the starting
room. This is the shortest level in the whole game, because it's
made up of 4 rooms. Once in the cave, the Old Man from before,
will be unconscious and lying on the ground. Then suddenly the
room goes dark, and Ganon will appear, taking the Old Man away.
Once the room lights up, and huge hole is on the north wall. So
now the time has come to kill Ganon. From the starting room, head
north. In here, you will hold up the Triforce piece which will act
like a key, to open the doorway leading northward. Go in the
doorway. There's Ganon, and he will laugh at you, then disappear.
Now the games begin! Kill Ganon the same way as before with your
Magic Sword. Once he turns blue, use the Silver Arrows on him. One
hit from that will kill him for good. Here's a helpful hint, stand
beside the left side of the door on the north. You will take
little, if any damage here, and you can kill Ganon easily.

Once you killed Ganon, you will get the Triforce back and both
doors will open. Now go through the north door. Here you will see
Princess Zelda sleeping, surrounded by 4 Blue Flames. Take out the
flames with your Sword, and go up to the Princess who will be
awaken! She will say "Listen to my voice. Thank you!" and you will
head to the starting room together. Once there, you will see the
Old Man again who says "If the spears have crossed, then do it
again" which I guess he means, if the time has come to fight Ganon
again, then do it. Now leave Level 9, and you will have offically
beaten BS Zelda! Congradulations! Once you have beaten the game, a
new quest won't start like the first Zelda game. Instead once you
hit START (or whatever button you have it set for), it will just
take you back to the main screen, and you can start where you last
saved at! Again good job on beating this, very hard to find game.

SECTION 3: |THE GOODIES|
            -----------

      ---------
  A: |The Items|
      ---------

     1. Heart: For every Heart you get, your life is refilled by one
     Heart Container.

     2. Container Heart: For every Container Heart you get, your life
increases by one Heart. You start off with 3 Hearts. Even though
normal max is 16, I've only gotten as high as 15 Container Hearts.

     3. Fairy: There are two types of Fairies. One you can get from
enemies, which will refill your life by 3 Heart Containers. The
other resides at Fairy Ponds and in some underground levels, they
refill all your life. Below is a list of where some Fairies are
     secretly hidden.

     4. Stopwatch: Whether you get this above ground or under, get the
Stopwatch, and all your enemies wil be frozen. Once you leave the
screen, the Stopwatch will wear off.

     5. Rupies: This is the currency of the game. There are two types
of Rupies, Red and Blue. Red one gives you 1 Rupy, and Blue gives
     you 5 Rupies.

     6. Letter and Blue & Red Potions: Get the Letter, and give it to
the Old Woman, and you will be able to buy either a Blue or Red
Potion from her. Both potions can be used to refill any lost life.
Blue ones can be used once, and Red ones can be used twice.

     7. Food Bait: My description (because I believe the instruction
manual is way off on it) is that if you give this to a character
underground, he will make way for you to continue onward.

     8. Sword, White Sword and Magical Sword: These are your main
weapons you'll get in the game. Each time you get a new sword, it
doubles the power of the previous sword. You start off with the
Sword, and then you will get White Sword, which takes 5 Hearts to
get. The Magical Sword is the final sword, and it takes 12 Hearts
     to get.

     9. Magical Sheild: This is an upgrade from your regular Sheild,
which helps protects you from most enemies attacks.

     10. Boomerang and Magical Boomerang: This weapon can be thrown at
your enemies to stun them, and can also pick up items left behind.
The Boomerang can only travel halfway across the screen, and the
Magical Boomerang can travel the length of the screen.

     11. Bomb: Very powerful item. This can kill most enemies very
easily, as well as be used to uncover secret pathways and caves.

     12. Bow: This is used to shoot arrows at your enemies. This item
     is useless without the Arrows.

     13. Arrow and Silver Arrows: Used to kill some enemies, mainly
Pol's Voices. Arrows can also be used to collect items that are
left behind. Only difference is the Silver Arrows can kill Ganon
     only.

     14. Blue and Red Candle: This can be used in a number of ways. You
can kill enemies with it, uncover secret caves and light up dark
rooms. The Blue Candle can be used only once per screen, and the
Red Candle can be used more than once per screen.

     15. Blue and Red Ring: Get either of these and they will increase
your defense. The Blue Ring will double your normal defense, and
the Red Ring will double the defense of the Blue Ring.

     16. Power Braclet: Get this item and you will be able to push
certain blocks out of the way. Some of which you will be able to
     get to secret warps.

     17. Flute: Use this item to send you to beaten levels, as well as
uncover certain things. It can also be used to defeat a certain
     enemy.

     18. Raft: This can only be used twice, but do so and you can sail
across the river. Note these can only be used at docks.

     19. Stepladder: Very useful item. Use the Stepladder to get over
small gaps. This can also be helpful when fighting enemies.

     20. Magic Rod and Book: Just like Wizzrobes attacks, you can send
out magic waves at your enemies by using the Magic Wand alone.
Collect the Magic Book and you will be able to launch fire at your
     enemies.

     21. Key and Magic Key: Use these to unlock doors in underground
levels. The Magic Key and you will have an unlimited supply of
keys, however the Magic Key is the only item not in the game.

     22. Map: This will show out the layout of the level, to help you
     get around easily.

     23. Compass: This will show you where the Triforce piece for that
     level is located.

     24. Triforce: These signify the end of the level. There are 8 of
these to collect. Get them all, and you will be able to fight
     Ganon.

      -----------------
  B: |Show Me The Fairy|
      -----------------

As I said before, it seems that there are some secret locations
where Fairies like to hide. Below is a list of where they are at,
and how to get them. Keep in mind these are infinite and you must
have the Magic or Dream Boomerang, because of the distance.

(courtesy of MattyXB and his mother)

     1. Area [E3]: Go to the screen just south of where the Magic Sword
is. Use the Boomerang and hit the tombstone, and a Fairy will
     appear.

     2. Area [B4]: This where an Old Man is in the cave. Just throw the
Boomerang against the rock on the small island, and 2 Fairies will
     appear.

     3. Area [D5]: This is where you get 100 Rupies free. Throw the
Boomerang at the nearby small island and a Fairy will appear.

      ---------
  C: |The Clock|
      ---------

As you can tell there is a Clock in the game, and it plays an
important role in BS Zelda. At certain times of the Clock, certain
things happens, like certain items will be available, or certain
levels will open up. However when I say something about "on the
screen", that means the screen you are currently on only, not the
next one. Below is a list of what time everything happens. Keep in
mind, that the Clock is just like a normal clock (60 seconds = 1
minute, 60 minutes = 1 hour). Keep this in mind, because this is
     very important.

     3:45 = Storm begins
3:45 = Armos goes to sleep
     3:45 = Level 9 accessable (only for 1 minute)

I have no idea what effects the clock has after 3:45, but if
anyone wants to share, go for it. Also, when it starts storming,
all Red Octoroks will turn into Red Darknuts for the duration of
     the storm.

Also, wanna beat the game much faster. Well here's a couple codes
I got from an email I got. It's a code to where you can adjust the
clock to your liking. A couple things though, if you choose to
start at 4:00, all the special abilities and unlockable stuff will
take place as if it's 0:00, just add 4 hours to whatever is listed
above, and you'll know what will occur when. Also, I'm unsure what
will happen between 3:45 and 4:00, if someone wants to fill me in,
     go for it!

     (courtesy of Andy Goth)
     Useful PAR (Pro-Action Replay) Codes:

     7FFFF9hh - Set the Hour
     7FFFFFmm - Set the Minute
hh and mm must be specified in hexidecmial. Let's say we want to
fast forward or rewind to 3:45 and make the clock stop there.

The Hour Code is easy since the only useful hours are 0 through 3.
     The Code would be: 7FFFF903.

For the Minutes Code, convert 45 to hexidecimal. Divide 45 by 16
to get 2 13/16ths. Use 2 for the high nibble (first digit) and 13
for the low niblle (last digit). 13 expressed in hexidecimal is D.
So the Code would be: 7FFFFF2D.

Here's a chart for the hexidecimal coding:

     Dec = Hex | Dec = Hex | Dec = Hex | Dec = Hex
     ----------|-----------|-----------|-----------
      0  =  0  |  4  =  4  |  8  =  8  | 12  =  C
      1  =  1  |  5  =  5  |  9  =  9  | 13  =  D
      2  =  2  |  6  =  6  | 10  =  A  | 14  =  E
      3  =  3  |  7  =  7  | 11  =  B  | 15  =  F

Back to me now. I've only tested out the 3:45 to see if it works,
and it does. I'm not totally sure about the rest of the coding
though. You wanna give it a try, go right ahead. If you come
across anymore secrets pertaining to this, please let me know!
Also if this causes your game to crash/erase, my apologies. I do
not know if this will happen (it may not happen at all), but just
incase it does, I have no explanation to how it can be fixed. ^_^

      -------------
  D: |The Power-Ups|
      -------------

Amongst the Clock, there are a few special abilites you can use
for a short period of time. Below is a list of those abilities:

     1. Dream Boomerang: My personal favorite. It is the combined power
of both Boomerangs, and can damage/kill the majority of enemies.
     Doesn't work on Bosses.

     2. Infinite Bombs: Another personal favorite. It's as it says,
you'll have an endless supply of Bombs for a short amount of time.
Use this to your advantage. Once this abilities time is up, you'll
go back to however many bombs you had prior to acquiring this
     ability.

     3. Shooting Sword: No matter what your life is, you can shoot out
beams of energy from your sword, just like if you were at full
     health.

     4. Max Heart Containers: For a time, you will have 16 Hearts on
your life, regardless how many you had beforehand. Once this
ability goes away, you will go back to the number of Hearts you
had prior to acquiring this ability.

     5. Red Candle: Just like the item, you will have unlimited uses of
your candle, for a few moments. Really helpful if you are trying
to find underground caves under trees.

     6. Stopwatch: Just like the item, a Stopwatch will appear freezing
all enemies on the screen. This will only happen on the current
     screen you are on.

SECTION 4: |THE BADDIES|
            -----------

Use these charts when facing any enemy or boss. It will help you
prepare for battle. Difficulty ranges from 1 - 5 (1 being easy, 5
being hard). Also I decided to mention how much it takes to kill
the enemies, as well as how much damage they (and their attack)
can do to you. It will be read based on the following:

Defense = Shows how much damage they will do to you, depending on
what ring you may (or may not) be using. NOTE: +0.5 means they
take half a heart from you. Any negative numbers means how many
hits they can do to you, before taking half a heart from you.

Offense = Shows how much it will take for you to kill them,
depending on what sword you may be using.

Attack = Shows what attack the enemy will do to you.

Let's look at the first monster as an example, Red Tektike. The
     stats are as followed:
     Defense: NO RING: +0.5/BLUE: -2/RED: -4
     Offense: WOODEN: 1/WHITE: 1/MAGIC: 1

Defense plays out like this: If you are wearing no ring, then it
will take 1/2 Heart from you. However if you are wearing the Blue
Ring, it can hit you twice before doing any damage to you. And if
you're wearing the Red Ring, it can hit you four times before
doing damage to you. Offense works out this way: In this case, you
can hit it with any sword once and that will kill it. However
other monsters may vary, depending on the number of hits shown.

This part is how you read the chart below each section.
Swd = You can use a Sword on an enemy
Bmb = You can use a Bomb on an enemy
Cnd = You can use a Candle on an enemy (don't matter which one)
Wnd = You can use the Magic Wand on an enemy (as a Sword)
Mgc = You can shoot magic attacks at an enemy
Arw = You can use an Arrow on an enemy (have Bow first)

Some items has the equavilent of the swords. Those items are:

Wooden Sword: Blue or Red Candle, Magic Wand
White Sword: Arrow or Silver Arrow
     Magic Sword: Bombs

      ---------------------
  A: |The Overworld Enemies|
      ---------------------

These are monsters found on the overworld.

     1. RED TEKTIKE
        Difficulty: 2
        Defense: NO RING: +0.5/BLUE: -2/RED: -4
        Offense: WOODEN: 1/WHITE: 1/MAGIC: 1
        Attack: None
These are spiders that hop around, making it difficult to kill
        them, but not that hard.

     2. BLUE TEKTIKE
        Difficulty: 2
        Defense: NO RING: +0.5/BLUE: -2/RED: -4
        Offense: WOODEN: 1/WHITE: 1/MAGIC: 1
        Attack: None
Same as the Red Tektike, but not as fast.

     3. RED OCTOROK
        Difficulty: 1
        Defense: NO RING: +0.5/BLUE: -2/RED: -4
        Offense: WOODEN: 1/WHITE: 1/MAGIC: 1
        Attack: Shooting Rocks
These are octopus like creatures that will shoot out rocks at
you. Not too difficult to kill.

     4. BLUE OCTOROK
        Difficulty: 1
        Defense: NO RING: +0.5/BLUE: -2/RED: -4
        Offense: WOODEN: 2/WHITE: 1/MAGIC: 1
        Attack: Shooting Rocks
Just like the Red Octoroks, except they take a little more to
get killed. The sometimes leave Bombs behind.

     5. RED LEEVER
        Difficulty: 3
        Defense: NO RING: +0.5/BLUE: -2/RED: -4
        Offense: WOODEN: 2/WHITE: 1/MAGIC: 1
        Attack: None
These worm like creatures burrow in the ground and come out at
a moment notice. These usually in groups and strike out very
        close to you.

     6. BLUE LEEVER
        Difficulty: 3
        Defense: NO RING: +1/BLUE +0.5/RED: -2
        Offense: WOODEN: 4/WHITE: 2/MAGIC 1
        Attack: None
Just like the Red Leevers, except these are more spread out and
won't appear close to you (not on purpose atleast).

     7. PEAHAT
        Difficulty: 3
        Defense: NO RING: +0.5/BLUE: -2/RED: -4
        Offense: WOODEN: 2/WHITE: 1/MAGIC: 1
        Attack: None
These things fly about, making it very difficult to kill
them. The only way to kill these things, is if they are sitting
        still.

     8. RED MOBLIN
        Difficulty: 2
        Defense: NO RING: +0.5/BLUE: -2/RED: -4
        Offense: WOODEN: 2/WHITE: 1/MAGIC: 1
        Attack: Shoots out arrows
These bulldog type creatures walk around in the wooded areas,
shooting out arrows at you. Both are equal in difficulty.

     9. BLUE MOBLIN
        Difficulty: 2
        Defense: NO RING: +0.5/BLUE: -2/RED: -4
        Offense: WOODEN: 3/WHITE: 2/MAGIC: 1
        Attack: Shoots out arrows
Exactly the same as the Red Moblins. Sometimes they drop Bombs.

    10. ARMOS
        Difficulty: 3
        Defense: NO RING: +1/BLUE: +0.5/RED: -2
        Offense: WOODEN: 3/WHITE: 2/MAGIC: 1
        Attack: None
These are armored warriors that are in domrant. Touch them, and
they will come alive. Some walk, and some run really fast.

    11. GHINI

It's hard to say what these are, but they hop around very
quickly. Using an arrow on them would be easier.

    15. LIKE LIKE
        Difficulty: 2
        Defense: NO RING: +1/BLUE: +0.5/RED: -2
        Offense: WOODEN: 7/WHITE: 5/MAGIC: 3
        Attack: Drains life
These are a group of snakes merged into some weird looking tube

trap you inside (taking your life) until you defeat them.

    16. GIBDO
        Difficulty: 3
        Defense: NO RING: +2/BLUE: +1/RED: +0.5
        Offense: WOODEN: 7/ WHITE: 4/MAGIC: 2
        Attack: None
These are mummys that can be a bit difficult to kill. Nothing
        special about them really.

    17. MOLDRUM
        Difficulty: 2
        Defense: NO RING: 1/BLUE: +0.5/RED: -2
        Offense: WOODEN: 2/WHITE: 1/MAGIC: 1
        Attack: None
These are a pair of worms that travel in the ground. These are
real fun to kill. Note these stats are for each fireball part
        of each body.

    18. BUBBLE, RED AND BLUE BUBBLE
        Difficulty: 2
        Defense: NO RING: 0/BLUE: 0/RED: 0
        Offense: WOODEN: 0/WHITE: 0/MAGIC: 0
        Attack: None
When you see these things, stay away. You can't kill Bubbles,
and infact they take your sword away. Normal Bubbles take them
for a short time. Red Bubbles take them away permenantly until
you touch a Blue Bubble, and Blue Bubbles of course, does
nothing except what I've described. Also, they don't cause
damage to you other than what I described, but they are a pain
in the neck to get around.

    19. STONE STATUES
        Difficulty: 2
        Defense: NO RING: +0.5/BLUE: -2/RED: -4
        Offense: WOODEN: 0/WHITE: 0/MAGIC: 0
        Attack: Launches fireballs
Found in either corners of a room or in the middle. They will
spit fireballs at you, but you can't kill them.

    20. SPIKE TRAPS
        Difficulty: 3
        Defense: NO RING: +1/BLUE: +0.5/RED: -2
        Offense: WOODEN: 0/WHITE: 0/MAGIC: 0
        Attack: None
These are found mostly in corners. Once you are aligned with
them, they will charge at you, causing major damage, so timing
is the key when seeing these things. You can't kill them
        either.

  C: |The Bosses|
      ----------

This is a list of all the bosses in the game, and how to beat the
     best way I could describe.

     Name: AQUAMENTIS
     Level: Level 1 and 7
     Difficulty: 2
     Defense: NO RING: +1/BLUE: +0.5/RED: -2
     Offense: WOODEN: 6/WHITE: 3/MAGIC: 2
     Attack: Launches fireballs

      ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- -----
Aquamentis is really simple to take out. Make sure you have bought
the Magic Sheild first. Simply put, you go up to him and slash at
his head about 5 to 7 times, stand right above his head. Watch out
he throws out fireballs. It's best if you have full hearts, that
way you can stand from a distance and shoot out your sword at him.
You can also try using various of items like Bombs.

     Name: DODONGO
     Level: Level 2
     Difficulty: 1
     Defense: NO RING: +1/BLUE: +0.5/RED: -2
     Offense: WOODEN: 0/WHITE: 0/MAGIC: 0
       (Note: Must use Bombs)
     Attack: None
     You can use:

      ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- -----
     | Yes | Yes | No | No | No | No |
      ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- -----
Unlike most creatures you take out, Dodongo must be dealt with in
a different way. You must make sure you have a lot of Bombs for
this character (in case you miss). When Dodongo is in your path
place a bomb so that it will explode and stops him in his tracks.
Do this twice and he will be defeated. Now here's a couple of
pointers: After using a bomb he will be paralyzed. If his feet
moves while being in this state, try to slash him. Doing so he
will sometimes leave bombs behind. PLAYERS NOTE: sometimes he
     travels in threes.

     Name: MANHANDLA
     Level: Level 3
     Difficulty: 2
     Defense: NO RING: +1/BLUE +0.5/RED: -2
     Offense: WOODEN: 4/WHITE: 2/MAGIC: 1
(Note: These are the hits for each mouthpiece)
     Attack: Launches fireballs
     You can use:
      ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- -----
     | Swd | Bmb | Cnd | Wnd | Mgc | Arw |
      ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- -----
     | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
      ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- -----
A fast flying flower. Manhandla can be stopped two ways, one is by
slashing at his mouthpieces, or two is by bombing it. My advice is
to bomb it, it works better that way, trust me. Keep in mind that
for each mouthpiece you take away it will get faster and faster.
Manhandla doesn't travel in any certain pattern so don't try
     following it.

     Name: DIGDOGGER

     Difficulty: 3

     Attack: Launches fireballs
     You can use:

This monster has to be dealt with in two steps. Step One: Use the
Flute on him, this will cause him to breakdown to a smaller shape.
Step Two: Go after the smaller pieces and slash away. PLAYERS
NOTE: Digdogger sometimes comes in threes after breaking him down.
     Be careful.

     Name: PARTA
     Level: Level 5
     Difficulty: 4
     Defense: NO RING: +2/BLUE: +1/ RED: +0.5
     Offense: WOODEN: 9/WHITE: 6/MAGIC: 3

Parta should be quite familiar by now. It was first introduced in
Level 9 (both quests) of Legend Of Zelda 1. However this time he
is an end boss. Parta can be quite the pain to defeat, but not too
tough. When in the same room with him, you'll see Parta surrounded
by 8 smaller Parta's spinning aournd it. Defeat the small Parta's
first, then go after then big one. The whole thing travels at a
fair pace, and has two forms of attacking. One way is that it will
travel simply, using the smaller Parta's as it's sheild if you
will. The other is that the smaller Parta's will expand itself
making it quite difficult to kill any of them. In any event, my
advice is to stay close, but not too close to Parta and start
slashing away at it, and don't give up hope. PLAYERS NOTE: You
must defeat the smaller Parta's before fighting the big one.

     Name: GOHMA
     Level: Level 6 and 8
     Difficulty: 3
     Defense: NO RING: +1/BLUE: +0.5/RED: -2
     Offense: WOODEN: 0/WHITE: 0/MAGIC: 0
       (Note: Must use Arrows)
     Attack: Launches fireballs

This slow moving crab can be bit difficult. Timing is the key. You
need to have the Bow and Arrow to defeat him, for thats the only
way to do it. Gohma will move back and forth and up and down,
opening and closing his eye at random. When his eye opens then
shoot him with the arrow. There are two types of Gohmas, Blue ones
and Orange ones. Blue ones take three arrows to be killed, unlike
the Orange ones which take only one arrow. I would suggest waiting
till it walks up and down instead of left and right, makes it
     easier to finish him.

     Name: GANON
     Level: Level 9
     Difficulty: 4
     Defense: NO RING: +1/BLUE: +0.5/RED: -2
     Offense: WOODEN: 16/WHITE: 8/ MAGIC: 4
     Attack: Launches fireballs
     You can use:

     | Swd | Bmb | Cnd | Wnd | Mgc | Arw |
      ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- -----
     | Yes | No | No | No | No | Yes |

The end boss of the end of the game. I would say Ganon is my
favorate End Boss ever, because you got to use your head on him.
Ganon disappears and shoots you with fireballs. The main thing is
his fireballs travels in certain pattern. You need to follow this
pattern so that you will be able to know where he is so that you
can strike at him. Now for each time you do this, his pattern
changes. After doing this 3 times he will turn blue, when this
happens pull out one Silver Arrow and shoot him, this will destroy
him. Now if you don't have the Silver Arrow, you're screwed.

      ----
  A: |Tips|
      ----

     1. The biggest tip I could possibly think of is this. This game is
similar to Legend Of Zelda. Use what you've learned from that game
to help you play this game. Trust me it will be helpful.

     2. Another big tip is that when you clear a screen or room, leave
it, then re-enter, all the enemies will regenerate. Use this to
your advantage, when getting money, bombs or life.

  B: |Codes|
      -----

These are Pro Action Replay Codes for BS Zelda. There are several
codes, but below is a list of codes that are essential to beating
the game, that is if you couldn't find them, or reach them in

  C: |Changes|
      -------

     1. Unlike Legend Of Zelda 1, there is no limit to how much money
you can get, although I think the limit could be 5,000 Rupies.
Either way, it's best you get about 500 to 600 Rupies total. That
should get you through the game easily.

     2. I've heard that a few items were removed from the game. Those
items are the Red Ring, Magic Key, Power Bracelet and Magic Sword.
Well that is wrong, as you can tell by going through my
walkthrough ^_^. However the Magic Key is not in the game,
although not many people has really noticed this.

     3. At certain times throughout the game, it'll start to storm,
believe it or not. And what makes it more odd is that the Octoroks
(Red or Blue) will turn into Red Darknuts. Imagine that, Red
     Darknuts on the Overworld ^_^.

     4. There are a couple of enemies also removed from the game. Those
enemies are Gleeok (the multi-headed dragon) and Lanmola (the fast
moving worm found in Level 9 of Legend Of Zelda).

     5. You'll probably notice that there is a clock in the game. What
it is for is to measure how long it takes for you to play the
game. This clock is very important for a reason. Once it hits
3:45, you can play Level 9, among other things (scroll up for more
     details).

     6. Here's an oddity for you. Normally you couldn't kill Ganon
unless you have the Magic Sword (and Silver Arrows of course).
Well I was able to fight Ganon with just a White Sword. Only
difference is, it'll take twice as long to defeat Ganon with the
White Sword, than it would with the Magic Sword. Definite
     challenge for you.

     7. When I played Level 9 the first time around, I was able to go
through it with only 7 pieces of the Triforce. I will probably
follow up on this bit of info for the next update.

SECTION 5: |IN CONCLUSION|
            -------------

      --------------
  A: |What's To Come|
      --------------

I really don't know of whats to come in the next update. I pretty
much covered everything here. I honestly don't believe in "Final
Versions" of any walkthrough, mainly because this could be the
end, but who knows what can be uncovered in the future. As with
other walkthroughs I will make, this will not have a finale ^_^.

  B: |Special Thanks|
      --------------

     Personal Thanks to the following:

Exo-Squad: for finding and downloading the game so that I could
play it (among literally hundreds of other games ^_^).

EverEagle78: for allowing me to have this game on his PC, and
the time I could use to make a walkthrough for it.

     Online Thanks to the following:

To GameFAQS, which is where I found info on BS Zelda in the first
place, and for housing the best game tips ever!

SephirothX & JWinters: I've never made a walkthrough before, so if
either of you feel I may of taken any type of info from your
walkthroughs (which I really hope I didn't), then I am giving you
full credit on the info in question.

Justin Lowe, ChronoStriker1 and Iron Mouse: For e-mailing me
describing how to get the Power Bracelet without using the cheat
     codes.

Iron Mouse: For the location of the Magic Sword and Red Ring
     without using any cheat codes.

The Big Hert: For finding the last, I mean 2nd (^_^) Heart
Container where Level 6 is, as well as giving the specifics on how
     the Clock works.

mnb_0000: I was coming up with ways to make stats for the enemies,
and by pure coincidence I came across this person (on the message
boards) who was also wanting to do the same thing. He made his
FAQ, and I made the update to mine. So with that I felt I should
credit him as well, for the having the same idea as I. Keep in
mind I had my own notes already, so that no one thinks I copied
     from him ^_^

MattyXB and his mom: For finding the secret locations of where
some Fairies may be hidden at.

Andy Goth: For the code on how to adjust the clock to your liking,
     via hexidecimal coding.

And to everyone else who helped made this walkthrough very
possible. Thanks for sending in all your supportive emails. It's
through that, that has made my walkthrough even better :-).

  C: |The Disclaimer|
      --------------

Although this is an update, this is my first walkthrough I've
made, preferably for GameFAQS. As it's been known, I am capable of
making more (thanks to the many fans I have out there), and as
such I am making more. I made this walkthrough the best way I can
and I hope it helps out in every way possible. Now here comes the
important stuff you need to read.

Ok, I'll make this quick and simple. This walkthrough is my work.
I've made this walkthrough, describing the game the best possible
way I can. You can use whatever info you want, so long as you give
me credit and don't alter anything. All you have to do is email me
at StarFighters76@hotmail.com if you're gonna do anything with
this walkthrough. And to show that I'm not a complete selfish
bastard, if you have something you wanna add, email me and I will
give you full credit ^_^. This walkthrough, like many others are
intended for GameFAQs ONLY. You want it on your site, well you
better start emailing me. Failure to comply with this, and I will
     be mad, among other things.
