Hello and welcome to my new Mini-Games FAQ. This one is for one of the greatest
games of all time, Zelda: Majora's Mask. Though this game may seem to have no
Mini-Games, if you look hard enough you can notice them. So that's why I have
composed this guide to help out those who may be in trouble in the Mini-Games of
this game. Or for those (like me) who just love them and want to become as best
asthey can at them.
This is my third Mini-Games FAQ and I continue to make more and more Mini-Games
FAQs because Mini-Games are just so fun to play and practice at. Mini-Games are
what make you forget about the game for a little while and have a little fun.
That's why they're so good to play. They're quick, fun and easy, so you must
feel the same way about the Mini-Games if you are reading my guide. So I would
like to welcome you to it and I hope you enjoy it.

~~ DEKU FLOWER GAME ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Where is it?
------------
Go into North Clock Town and transform into a Deku Scrub. Now go over to the
ramp on the left side and find the Deku Flower near the entrance to the Fairy
Fountain. Use it launch yourself over to the fenced area and go down the hole.
Then when inside, talk to the Deku Scrubs here and they will let you play a
game.
How to Play the Game
--------------------
The game is simple. All you have to do is collect all of the Rupees on the
moving platforms without touching the ground below and before the time runs
out. You get to keep the Rupees as well.
Other Information
-----------------
Start playing this game on the first day and then on the second and final day to
play 3 different games. If you complete all 3 games you will get a Piece of
Heart.
Tips and Strategies
-------------------
You should practice how to use the Deku Flowers so you will have the advantage
in battle. You will play different games everyday, so remember that. The first
day is easy and final day will be quiet hard. It also helps to start at the
edge of the games, and work you way to the middle. Or you could start on the
outside platforms and go through collecting Rupees to the other side.

~~ HONEY AND DARLING BOMB GAME ~~

Where is it?
------------
Go to West Clock Town and go into the door which is not too far away from the
Milk Bar. Inside there are 2 lovers dancing, this is how you know you got the
right place.
How to Play the Game
--------------------
Each day there will be a different game to play. Each one requires you to have
Bombs, Bombchus and Arrows. So if you don't have any, go to East Clock Town and
go into the Bomb Shop to get a Bomb Bag. To get Arrows, you need to complete
the first Temple. Now you will be able to play the games. The game will start
when you are on the middle platform and you have to face the wall. Then the
middle platform will start to raise and spin. Now you can aim for the target,
which are on the walls. You will have to destroy all of the targets within the
set time limit to win the game.
Other Information
-----------------
Each day there is a different game. So listen to the couple so you know what to
do when you play the game. If you complete all three games you will get a Piece
of Heart.
Tips and Strategies
-------------------
Arrow Game - Stand in the middle as much as possible so it will be easier for
you to see all of the targets. Use the Control Stick to always be
facing the wall and not the couple. If you miss a target don't
worry about it too much, you can get it later. Just keep in rhythm.
Bomb Game - To throw the Bomb into the basket, face the wall and line up the
camera so that it is facing straight at the wall. Now stand near
middle and pull out a bomb and wait for the moment the basket is in
front of you before you run forward and throw it. If you miss a
target don't worry about it too much, you can get it later. Just
keep in rhythm.
Bombchu Game - This third game is probably the hardest one. You will need to
launch the Bombchus at the right moment in the right direction,
and this can be difficult. To launch the Bombchu into the target,
face the wall and line up the camera so that it is facing
straight at the wall. Now stand near middle and pull out a
Bombchu and wait for the moment the target is in front of you
before you run forward and throw it. If you miss a target don't
worry about it too much, you can get it later. Just keep in
rhythm.

~~ CLOCK TOWN SHOOTING GALLERY ~~

Where is it?
------------
Go to East Clock town and in the South of this area there is a shop with a giant
Octorock on the front of it.
How to Play the Game
--------------------
The game seems simple. All you have to do is shoot the Blue Octorocks and not
the red ones. Though it sounds easy, it isn't. The Octorocks are very fast and
you will need a lot of skill with the Hero's Bow before you even think about
trying to beat this game.
Other Information
-----------------
When you first talk to the man behind the counter he will tell you that if you
beat the record of the game he will give you something good. And if you are
skilled (and lucky) enough to shoot all 50 Octorocks you will get something else
as well.
Tips and Strategies
-------------------
This is a very hard game. The best thing that I could say is that you should get
playing and playing until you get the real hang of the game and you start to
memorise the positions of the Octorocks. Also when you are waitng for the next
group of Octorocks it's always good to be holding down the B Button so that you
have an arrow ready to shoot.

~~ TREASURE CHEST SHOP ~~

Where is it?
------------
Go to East Clock Town and go into the building the middle which is in the shape
of a treasure chest.
How to Play the Game
--------------------
Once the game begins it looks easy, but this can be quiet a hard game. Where you
play the game is set out like one big chessboard. There are squares everywhere
and in the back row there is a treasure chest. You have to get to the treasure
chest before the time runs out. Seems easy but there is one little problem.
There are some squares on the field, which will rise when you get near it. So
you will have to maneuver your way through the board until you reach the end.
I think of it as a moving maze.
Other Information
-----------------
When you get near some squares they will rise to block your way. But they don't
stay up for good. When you back away from that square it goes back down again,
so it can be hard to remember which path you have already taken. Below it says
that if you reach the treasure chest as Goron link you get a Piece of Heart,
that means you must talk to the lady behind the counter AS Goron Link and then
get the chest. Not reach the chest and turn into him and open it.
Tips and Strategies
-------------------
There isn't much I can say about this game, all you really need is a good memory
and some lick.

- Reach the treasure chest as Normal, Deku and Zora Link to get 50 Rupees.
- Reach the treasure chest as Goron Link to get a Piece of Heart.

~~ SOUTHERN SWAMP SHOOTING GALLERY ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Where is it?
------------
When you are in Termina Field go to the south end and you will find the entrance
to the Southern Swamp. Then when you are there go and take the left path and
past the little pool and go through the door up the stairs.
How to Play the Game
--------------------
When the game starts there will be enemies all over the place. What you have to
do is shoot them all down before the time runs out. If you look close you can
see some enemies which are hidden in the background (one in the tree on the
right and the other on the rock on the left). Make sure you don't miss those.
Other Information
-----------------
There will times when an enemy which appears only for some time, if you fail to
shoot that enemy you won't be able to get the top score at the end on the game,
make sure that your bow reflexes are strong.
Tips and Strategies
-------------------
You have to by top-notch at your quick speed shooting in this game, so make sure
you can take down as many of the monster at one time as possible. When you see
the Deku Scrubs rise shoot as many of them down before they go into the ground
again. Then some Guay (the birds) will appear from either the left or the right.
Shoot those down quick and then finish shooting the Dekus if you missed them
because they come back up. Then a Wolfos appears so shoot him down as well. The
process will be like this continually only minor things will change. Like the
position the Wolfos and Guays arrive from.

~~ KOUME'S SHOOTING GAME ~~

Where is it?
------------
When you have completed the Woodfall Temple you will notice that the Southern
Swamp will go back to normal. So now it isn't filled with poison. So go back to
the Tourist Centre and talk to Koume and she will offer to play a game with you.
How to Play the Game
--------------------
You will be on the boat that you used to get to the Deku Palace. What you have
to do is to shoot the target that Koume is holding beneath her. She will move
in all sorts of directions so you try and miss.
Other Information
-----------------
Make sure that you don't shoot Koume because she will get quiet angry with you
and if you shoot her too many times, you lose.
Tips and Strategies
-------------------
You should be able to win this game even if you aren't that good with the Bow. I
didn't find it too hard at all. You have to is shoot at the target as fast as
you can so you can put up those numbers, so be quick and careful.

~~ GORON RACING ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Where is it?
------------
Well first thing to do is to complete the Snowhead Temple because you won't be
able to get to this part unless you do. Then when you have brought spring to the
area go to the Goron Village and talk to the big Goron whom is an expert on
Powder Kegs. So learn how to use the Powder Keg. Now you have to take it to the
Twin Islands area, which is filled with water. Then go up the ramp next to the
exit that leads to the Mountain Village. Up here is that baby Goron who was
crying. Place the Powder Keg next to the huge boulder here and blow up the
boulder. Now you can enter and participate in the races.
How to Play the Game
--------------------
Well this doesn't need much explanation, it's a race, you just have to roll to
the end of the race first to win, seems easy, well it is.
Other Information
-----------------
When you start the race there will be a countdown. You have freedom of control
here, so don't go over the line until it says "GO!" then you can start the race.
Now when the race begins start rolling as fast and as best as you can. I hope
that you are ready because the other Gorons are quiet fast indeed. So if you
have a full Magic Meter your going to do well.
Tips and Strategies
-------------------
When the race begins (the countdown) walk forward a few steps and then curl up,
you won't get in trouble for moving forward as long as you stay behind the line,
and now you have an advantage. Another good tip is to collect all of the Stray
Fairies in the Snowhead Temple and return them to the fountain so you get a
double Magic Meter, now you will have more magic as you race down the track.
There are plenty of Magic Bottles for you to pick up as you play so when you
see a group of them, make sure you pick them up. Also, if you know about racing,
you should stay on the inside of the track so it's shorter. Other Gorons will
bump into you if they want to, this will slow you down, but you can hit them as
well, so bump, or be bumped.

~~ FISHERMAN'S JUMPING GAME ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Where is it?
------------
When you have completed the Great Bay Temple go to the Great Bay area and catch
the boat that is up the path heading towards the Pirate's Hideout on the beach.
You can go onto the boat from 7am to 6pm. Then use your Hookshot to catch the
tree on the island that the Fisherman is standing on.
How to Play the Game
--------------------
There are 5 islands in the shape of a plus sing (One in the middle and 4 in the
compass directions). You will start in the middle island. On each on the 4
outside islands there is a torch. When the game starts one of the torches on
the outside islands will light up. You will have to jump to that island and
then back to the middle so another torch lights up. Then jump to the next
lit-up island. You will see a circle, if you are wrong, you will see a cross.
Other Information
-----------------
You have to get a certain amount of points if you won't to win the game, so do
your best in positioning your jumps carefully. Also if you fall into the water
you will lose the game.
Tips and Strategies
-------------------
If you want to be faster at the game it's a good idea to equip the Bunny Hood
before you play and use the Z Targeting so you can see which island to jump to.

~~ BEAVER RACING ~~

Where is it?
------------
On the second area of Great bay there is a waterfall. Make your way up there
with your Hookshot to get to the top and enter the Waterfall Rapids. Now talk to
the Beaver and get ready to race.
How to Play the Game
--------------------
Well this doesn't need much explanation, it's a race, you just have to roll to
the end of the race first to win, seems easy, well it isn't. But you have to go
through all of the rings and beat the timer to win this game.
Other Information
-----------------
When you start the race you will know which ring to go through because it will
be flashing and you can also follow the Beaver who you will be racing against.
Tips and Strategies
-------------------
Practice some of your Zora swimming moves like the dolphin leap, turning and
basic controlling. So get a good feel of the swimming before you play, this is
a hard game.

Where is it?
------------
In Ikana Canyon there is a hut on the far end of the cliff with a pirt in it.
Talk to him to play the game.
How to Play the Game
--------------------
You have to kill the 4 Poe Sisters in the time limit, I you have played Ocarina
of Time you will remember these sisters from the Forest Temple.
Other Information
-----------------
This is a timed battle so you will have to quick when you are going about
killing the Poe Sisters.
Tips and Strategies
-------------------
1st Poe: Amy - Shoot her with arrows.
2nd and 3rd Poe: Beth and Jo - Block their spin attacks then slash them with
your sword.
4th Poe: Meg - Shoot the right one with your bow.
Rewards

- Win for another Piece of Heart

~~ DOGGIE RACING ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Where is it?
------------
Go to the southwest section of Termina Field on the Third Day so you can enter
Romani Ranch. OR if you can buy Powder Kegs, blow up the boulder on the First or
Second Day. Then go into the door with the lady in it and talk to her.
How to Play the Game
--------------------
Kinda like horse racing. You place your bets on a doggie of your choice. Then
depending on what position your doggie comes, depends on your prize.
Other Information
-----------------
Just like in real life, you will have you to put all your faith into your choice
of animal. So hope you have the right choice.
Tips and Strategies
-------------------
If you can get the Mask of Truth you will find out that you can talk to animals
with it. So wear it when you choose your doggie and have a listen to what they
have to say. Choose one who says something uplifting and has a good chance of
getting into the top 4.
Another thing you can do is put on the Bremen Mask and start marching. The dog
that will win the race will start to follow you, so just pick this one. (Thanks

Where is it?
------------
On Milk Road take the north path in the left direction from Romani Ranch and
talk to the Gorman brothers to see if you can race. You will need to have got
Epona back.
How to Play the Game
--------------------
When you learn how to ride Epona you just have to beat the Gorman brothers on
their horses.
Other Information
-----------------
There is no right or wrong path to take in this game, just make sure that you
don't wear down Epona too much.
Tips and Strategies
-------------------
When you see a clump of dirt, you will jump over it so make sure that if you are
going to jump over it that you are perfectly straight with it so you don't scare
Epona and stop. Personally, I try to avoid the jumps, but the Gorman brothers
never take them, so you can use them so you're out of their way.

~~ ROMANI'S BALLOON SHOOTING GAME ~~

Where is it?
------------
When you get Epona back from Romani by playing Epona's Song to her, Romani wants
you to train for the big night. So you have to play this game so you can learn
how to use your hero's Bow on a horse.
How to Play the Game
--------------------
Burst the balloons before the time runs out.
Other Information
-----------------
The balloons are scattered everywhere throughout the area where the ranch is. So
make sure you look all over the place for the balloons.
Tips and Strategies
-------------------
This is a good practice of using the Bow on the horse. So lets go over how to do
it with some ease. When you see a balloon, you don't need to get too close to
it. Just pull out the bow as your start to slow and start shooting away until
it pops. Once you get it, it's pretty easy.
