01. Introduction
==================

-----
~01-A: What is the Nintendo Gallery?~

The Nintendo Gallery is a place where you can bring pictographs of people
and creatures you meet in the game so that they can be made into figurines. You
can get figurines for important characters, common townspeople, and even
enemies and bosses. This makes for a large number of figurines that one must
attain in order to complete the Gallery.

-----
~01-B: How do I participate in the Nintendo Gallery?~

The Nintendo Gallery is located on an island near the Forest Haven. To
reach the Nintendo Gallery, use the Baba Buds to be launched to the top of the
Forest Haven. Once you reach the area where you got the Deku Leaf, look for a
lone Baba Bud across from the one you used last. Use the Deku leave to fly into
this Baba Bud, and it will launch you upward. As soon as you are as high as it
will shoot you, use the Deku Leaf to fly to the ledge that should be right
across from you. Go through here and you will be on a cliff overlooking an
island. Make sure the wind is right, and fly down to the island with the Deku
Leaf. Once there, use a Hyoi Pear to take control of a seagull and make it hit
a switch that sits in an alcove on the side of the Forest Haven. This will open
the Nintendo Gallery and lower a ladder so that you can simply climb up to the
island now and not have to go through all of that trouble again.
To be able to have figurines made for the Nintendo Gallery, you will need
a Deluxe Picto Box. You'll need to take pictographs of your subjects and bring
them to Carlov, the man behind the counter inside the Gallery. It takes Carlov
one day to make a figurine. To make it easier on yourself, just play the Song
of Passing twice after giving him a pictograph and exiting the Gallery.

02. Taking Pictographs
========================

-----
~02-A: Getting the Picto Box~

The Picto Box is on Windfall Island inside the jail cell that Tingle can
be found in. To get to the cell, follow the main path in Windfall and go
around behind Lenzo's Pictography Shop. You'll know it's the right door
if you see a man dressed up like Elvis dancing around near what looks like a
grave. (You can learn the Song of Passing from this Elvis-garbed man, which
can help later. Just pull out the Wind Waker and don't play anything on a 3/4
rhythm and he'll teach the song to you.)
Once inside the cell, free Tingle if you haven't already. There's a
switch you can step on behind some jars that will open the cell door. After
Tingle is gone, go into the cell and pull back the wooden crate that's inside.
A small hole will be revealed that you must crawl through to reach the room
that houses the Picto Box. If you see that the floor in one direction is
wooden, do not go that way, or else you will fall into a trap and have to start
over. After grouping about inside the maze for a little while, you should find
the Picto Box. The maze directions are left, right, left, right, straight (x3),
right, straight (x3), right. (Thanks to Chris for the maze directions.)

-----
~02-B: Using the Picto Box~

Equip the Picto Box to X, Y, or Z and press that button to use it. You
will go into a first-person perspective. Use the C-stick to zoom in or out.
Press A to take a pictograph and confirm whether or not you want to save it.
The Picto Box can hold up to 3 pictographs. Press R while using the Picto Box
to bring up your stored pictures. You can choose to delete pictographs you are
storing here. When you show someone a pictograph, press the button that the
Picto Box is assigned to and choose the pictograph from the selection to show
them.

-----
~02-C: Getting the Deluxe Picto Box~

Go into Lenzo's Pictography Shop (the one with a Picto Box over the
door) and show him the Picto Box you took from Tingle's cell. Talk to him
enough, and he'll make you his assistant. He'll give you three tasks to
complete as assistant. First, you'll need to stake-out the red postbox near the
town gate and take a pictograph of a man mailing a letter. Make sure that this
man does not see you. Get a pictograph with the man's whole body in it. He'll
be wearing red, so you'll know him when you see him. Take the pictograph to
Lenzo.
The second task is to take a picture of the only man in the cafe (above
Zunari's shop) during the daytime. Knock some cups or dishes off of a shelf and
he'll jump up and start shaking. Take a pictograph of him and show it to Lenzo.
For the third task, take a pictograph of the man that walks around town
and the woman in the orange dress as they look at each other for a split
second. The woman is near the windmill entrance, so wait on the other side of
the windmill door for the man to walk out from behind the staris she's next to.
Take this pictograph to Lenzo and your tasks for him are complete.
Now that you've finished Lenzo's jobs, go to the Forest Haven with an
empty bottle. Capture a forest firefly with the bottle. They are small orbs of
light the are near the Haven's inner walls. They change colors, so you'll be
able to know it's them. Once you have one, show it to Lenzo and he'll use it to
upgrade your Picto Box to a Deluxe Picto Box.

-----
~02-D: Taking good pictographs~

As general rules, there are some thing to try and do when taking
pictographs. Always try to have the subject facing the camera when taking a
pictograph. Also, try to get as much of the subject in the shot as possible,
without them being incredibly tiny. These rules can be hard for some shots,
like enemies and bosses, but it's important to try and follow these guidelines
as best as possible, or Carlov may reject your pictographs.

-----
~02-E: Legendary Pictographs~
Lenzo will sell you pictographs of certain characters that you cannot
get in the normal course of the game. Once you encounter that character, Lenzo
can sell you the pictograph with him/her in it. The legendary pictographs you
can purchase depend on the moon phases. During the day, Lenzo offers the same
pictograph as the night before. Here is the list of phases and corresponding
pictographs. (Thanks to Kenneth Brown for the phase list.)

-Full moon: Ganon
-Part of right side missing: Great Fairy
-Right side missing: Jabun
-Part of left side remains: Fairy Queen
-Part fo right side remains: Fado
-Left side missing: Laruto
-Part of left side missing: King of Hyrule

-----
~02-F: After beating the game once~

If you beat the game and start a new file from the beaten save, you'll
start out with the Deluxe Picto Box, which will save you time if you want to
complete the Nintendo Gallery on that file. Also, the Nintendo Gallery will be
open from the start, and all of the figures from the save file you started the
new one from will be in it.

===========================
03. Nintendo Gallery List
===========================

The Nintendo Gallery is divided into separate rooms for different regions
in the game. Each figurine made goes into the room of the region that the
subject is primarily from. Below are the rooms and the figures contained within
each, starting with the room to Carlov's immediate right and going counter-
clockwise. Some of these subjects cannot have their pictographs taken normally,
and you must buy a Legendary Pictograph from Lenzo that has them in it.
