If you are using a PC then you may want you brighten it up with a Zelda theme pack. What is a theme? Well basically it can add a picture to your desktop, new sounds, icons and start-up/shut-down screens. They are pretty good but you may find some parts of them annoying, in which case you can simply turn these annoying parts off.

If you are running Windows 95 then you will need to download this program to use the Themes. Just unzip this program into a folder in program files called "Plus!" Zipped Size : 137 K |
Once you have downloaded it do the following: Unzip It using winzip and then unzip it into the drawer "C:\program files\plus!\themes" and then call the folder a name like "Zelda64". So if you were unzipping the Zelda64 theme pack you would unzip it into the folder "C:\program files\plus!\themes\zelda64". Now, if you have Windows 98, you should have a program on there to handle the themes. Load that up, it should be in the Plus! folder. If you do not have windows 98 you will need to download Desktop Themes so that you can use these themes on Windows 95. Also you may need to move files by hand (such as startup and shutdown screens) and look into the actual theme packs to find instructions on how to do this.
